Brilliant stay just outside of Port de Pollenca

Great place, we would definitely stay again! The pool is definitely the star of the show, shallow bits for the kids and a really deep section for jumping and diving in. There are lots of mosquitos about so make sure you take repellant!

Lovely house, like a Spanish hacienda with a deep verandah all across the front. The shutters were great and we were able to shut out the sun while still getting a breeze. The mosquito problem has been well addressed within the house, but I recommend taking some mosquito coils for the evenings. The pool is fantastic and our 3 year old granddaughter grew very quickly in confidence as the shallow part was not too deep for her. The beach enabled the baby to sit and splash. The rocks are great for leaping in!Only 6 minutes drive from Port da Pollenca for lovely evening meals and strolls. The feral cats were lovely and the grandchildren enjoyed watching them.An added bonus was the suite downstairs with bedroom, hallway and bathroom. This meant that we could stay downstairs and leave our daughter and family to enjoy the 3 upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. A perfect stay and we hope to return next year.

Flatters to deceive, but ultimately disappoints. This property has the potential to be great, but it needs significant investment. It is old and tired; a bit shoddy. The positives are the pool and the mountain vistas. There is a lot of greenery around the pool, but that brings mosquitoes and biting insects.Advertised as having 3 showers, but one of these is in an outhouse and is a cold shower, that leaves one en suite and one bathroom for up to 8 people, completely inadequate. Kitchen is poorly equipped. The bedrooms have air conditioning, but in the rest of the house the heat was oppressive, we stayed late June and early July .

Great stay with an amazing pool, but a few small details were missing. We had a very pleasant holiday in this house on Mallorca. Without a doubt, the swimming pool is the biggest highlight of the property. It was absolutely perfect for the children, but the adults enjoyed it just as much. However, the description of the house layout was a bit incomplete regarding the bathrooms. For future guests, it is helpful to know that there is one bathroom upstairs shared among three bedrooms, a second bathroom on the ground floor, and the third bathroom is located in a separate building by the pool. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, mosquitoes can be quite bothersome here, though that is obviously a matter of nature and not the fault of the house itself. The only real downside was the complete lack of basic cleaning supplies in the kitchen. When you go on vacation, you do not want to worry about buying garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, or dish soap right after arrival. Even though these items only cost a few euros, I have stayed in many villas before where these essentials were always provided for convenience.Overall, it is a lovely place for a family holiday, but providing those small kitchen essentials would make the experience much better.

Summer Holiday

The pool was amazing, huge and perfect for our children with the youngest being 3! You have to drive everywhere which was fine as we hired two cars, but would be hard if you didn’t. Good location to everyone, 5 mins to Pollensa, 5 mins to the beach and large supermarkets just a couple of mins away. Could have done with some info on things like washing machine etc as we weren’t able to use them. Overall a brilliant stay, thank you

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed the stay at the Vila! Absolutely smooth communication with the landlord. All went well we got help when we needed it. The outside area is absolutely gorgeous. Lovely pool and perfect with little kids as they can play and stand in the first part of the pool. The inside is very spaceous. The furniture is a bit old and could be replaced, Unforuntely, there are many many mosquitos. So better bring lots of mosquito spray. t

The villa was spacious and quirky. On arrival no running water from taps or toilets, two calls made eventually maintenance man plus lady arrived sorted.Main concern the amount of mosquitoes and midges this is with all windows kept closed at all times, nets used, jungle spray plus medication provided by local pharmacy all seven of party badly effected. Since home medical treatment sort. We appreciate there’s a lot of established gardens but we’ve rented a variety of villas within Spain and not had this previously all in August. The villa is well positioned on a lovely plot with a beautiful pool ideal for four children ranging from 7-14 but sadly we wouldn’t return mainly due to the above.Another concern we weren’t informed of visiting maintenance man who arrived on our last day whilst my elderly mother was sat eating breakfast and proceeded to use garden machinery for two hours waking the children, this would probably have been preferable a day later as we left at 8am.

am not sure what liability the owner bears if your valuables were stolen when a safe was available for your use in the house. Incidentally, it was not the cleaning staff who stole from you. I also do not understand why you claim we did not allow you to stay an extra hour at the house; that is simply not true. You did have that extra hour—which, by the way, the owner was under no obligation to grant. Your vacation was ruined by your own poor management. Please use the safe next time you go on vacation. We regret what happened. You have likely already reported the theft to your insurance company. Thank you very much.

Ruhig in 3. Reihe aber nah an allem, was man braucht.

Family Holiday

We stayed here for 2 weeks in August. The pool area is the reason we booked the Villa. Very safe for young children but also perfect for adults to swim also. The Villa was very clean and communication with the owner and host was easy. They also handled some uncertainty over the booking due to covid very well which we appreciated. We were 6 adults and 3 children-6,4 and 2 years old. The Villa could be improved greatly with a couple of small changes. Our main recommendation would be to improve the patio furniture. This was very uncomfortable and there were not enough seats to cater for the number of people the Villa can hold. In fact there was only seats for 4 adults which restricted our use of the Villa in the evenings. Also, the main room in the Villa is taken up with a 20 seat old style dining table. This is the main living space in the house. We didn't use this room at all. The table is antique and impressive but not practical at all for a family holiday. There is a smaller table in the kitchen but the kitchen is no air con so ultimately there is no indoor space except the tiny sitting room for a larger party to gather. Given the cost of the Villa I would not book again unless this changed and there was appropriate space (except poolside) for a family to gather and be comfortable.

Thanks so much Martin for your kindly words. I hope you enjoy your holidays in Ca'n Suau. All information about the house are in the web site. The problem is than sometimes , the automatic translator Inglish - German is not so correct like we need. Unfortunaly, some problems are not easy to solution and is not posible do it as soon as we want it. The finca is close to the private way, not from the main road, only owners of the fincas use this way, so, i think is not disturb to much. Best wishes. Joan

The most relaxing holiday we’ve had since we’ve had children, mostly down to the beautiful outside area and pool and tranquility of the place. Plenty of space and close enough to everything you want or need yet it feels like you’re miles away.
