気になった点 : 清潔度、チェックイン、コミュニケーション、掲載情報の正確さ
I could not possibly encourage you less to book at this property. After getting off the plane, exhausted from traveling, we arrived to the property shortly after 10pm and there was a man standing at the open door holding a paint brush. He asked “when are you supposed to check in?” “Right now.” (6 hours past the open check-in time of 4pm). We learned that he was a handyman and he was painting the inside and outside of the property, the space was filled with paint fumes, all of the door handles were covered in painters tape, and the majority of the walls in the property were covered in wet paint that we would have to avoid. Note: He was also blocking all of the parking with his giant truck so we couldn’t even get into the parking area and had to temporarily block the alley because there was no other option. We immediately called the property host and learned that also the air conditioner was broken, which we located directly above the bed (first of all – MASSIVE safety hazard), and it was leaking all over the bed, which was covered by a giant paint bucket. Owner: “The pillows are just wet, it’s not a big deal.” The entire bed was soaked and the space reeked of mildew. We quickly learned that not only could we not stay there but that the owner absolutely did not care about the situation we were in AT ALL other than saying a cold “well, I do apologize” repeatedly.
