clean & cozy - great location!

Cute condo - nice and clean; plenty of space for all of us and great location. It's a little mini resort close to the beach with lots of activities! Will definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at Sandpiper for the last 7 years it's always a great place to stay. The location and unit was very nice however you can hear everything from the upstairs unit. It was very hard to sleep with the people upstairs walking around very late you the footsteps are loud in the bedrooms. Might be better to be on the upper unit if you aren't able to drown out the noise.

The owners have done a wonderful job with the cleanliness and decor of the condo. My favorite would have to be the photos and artwork completed by a child. 😍 The location was perfect and safe. The guards ar the gate were great as well. The check out and check in process was efficient. The only suggestion that I would make is to have papertowels along with the tissue. I loved the stay and would definitely stay again. The beach service was a great addition as well. Thank you so much!!

Great location on the channel

I’ve stayed at other condos at sandpiper and this was at a great location, backed up to the channel and a 5 min walk to the beach, plus had the beach chairs and umbrella included. The only down falls would be that there was only one large trash bag and we where scheduled for a week, NO seasonings (including salt & pepper) to cook with which was very inconvenient, NO paper towels or napkins, and the pans were not non stick so food stuck even with oil. Other then that it was a good condo.

However the master bath shower was not cleaned properly, there was black hair all over the shower wall. Above the 2 vents in the dining room was mold growing. I thought it was dust & tried sweeping it off but it smeared like mold. I would suggest using heavier trash bags for the kitchen as we had a mess when removing it. The bag broke and it was a mess to clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time visiting Destin. We were looking for a place that we could stay and keep our boat. We were very pleased with the property and loved the ability to keep our boat behind our place. It is a very protect area with limited traffic. With easy access to all of the popular spots. One thing to note is several restraunts on the Destin Harbor don’t have boat dockage available. The private beach access is wonderful. The property also has several pools, tennis, pickle ball and a small golf coarse. I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

It is well appointed with kitchen items and modern appliances, and was spotless upon arrival. Other than toilet paper, no other paper products were supplied. The wifi is strong and there's a nice selection of DVDs, books, magazines, and board games. It is a .4 mile walk to the private beach but you can also park your car at that side of the complex. Our only dissatisfactions are not the owner's fault in that you have to drive past the Louisiana Lagniappe restaurant that is onsite and around dinner time the valet parking traffic backs up so you have to sit in traffic to get 'home'. The other is that you can hear all the movements of the upstairs occupants' footsteps and during our stay there were children who were up very early (6am) running around which was problematic for us as we are light sleepers. Otherwise it was a lovely stay.

The space was very comfortable for the 6 of us. The dock planks around Slip 28 are in bad shape. Several are loose and one is raised up that had tripped us many times unloading the boat.

Had issue with dishwasher not draining so we washed the dishes. Also had a few issues with the beach chairs. They put us on the back row instead of up front. Stated the front was for paying customers. We told them that the owner of the condo paid them so why couldn’t we have a front spot. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Overall loved our stay. We definitely rent again.

Only problem we had was the people staying above us had a bunch of kids and they let them run around like crazy people all night. I even bagged on the ceiling and one of the parents came down and asked what was going on. I let him know that it sounded like a zoo upstairs and he told me they have a bunch of kids. I asked him to get them under control.
