BEACH & POOL EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED: Check out the large storage container on the balcony, which contains beach chairs, pool noodles, boogie boards, and pool toys! Beach towels are also supplied as a courtesy.
GRILLING: There is a BBQ grill and picnic table located nearby so you can relax outdoors while you grill food for family and friends! Just bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.
POOL: "HHI Dreaming" is conveniently located a 60-second walk from the neighborhood's sparkling pool. Grab some of the included beach towels and relax on one of the lounge chairs. The pool is open from April to September!

Guest access:
This property is easy to find and has an electronic keypad for your convenience. Never need to worry about losing or sharing the keys. There will be a parking pass waiting for you at the drive-thru pass office near the entrance of Palmetto Dunes on the right side as you enter. The parking pass will be under the primary renters’ name. The first pass is complementary if your stay is 7 nights or less. Additional passes are $35 and up depending on length of stay.
Once you enter the community from the Highway 278 entrance continue and turn right into the visitor center and drive up to the Pass window line. They will have your pass. Return to the main road to the South gate. Display your pass on the dashboard of your car. We pay for your first car pass and you will need to pay for each additional vehicle.
The address, Wi-Fi, and other details will be provided after a confirmed reservation.
The Savannah airport is 47 miles away (45-60min drive) and the Hilton Head Island airport on the island is about 6 miles away (10-15min drive) from our front door!

-FREE courtesy access to the The Dunes Buggy transportation (Available Mid-March through Labor Day)

Gate Pass Information:
Palmetto Dunes is a secured community and requires all vehicles to display a gate pass to enter. Please specify the number of security gate passes that are needed at the time of booking your reservation. Stays of 1-7 nights you'll receive (1) Palmetto Dunes Gate Pass included with your reservation. Stays of 8+ days will be charged to guests at $35 per pass.
If additional passes are needed for they will be charged at the pass office the normal Palmetto Dunes gate pass rate which is as follows:
1-7 nights ($35), 8-14 nights ($50), 15-30 nights ($75), 31-89 nights ($100)

I chose to buy my condo in Palmetto Dunes because it’s the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and fun in an incredible Lowcountry setting. I love having direct access to three miles of pristine beaches, world-class golf courses, and the amazing tennis and pickleball center right at my doorstep. The 11-mile lagoon system is great for kayaking, and the bike paths make exploring the resort a breeze. The gated community feels safe and exclusive, and with Shelter Cove Marina nearby, there’s always something to do, from dining to dolphin tours. I bought here for the lifestyle, and I know you’ll love staying in this beautiful, amenity-packed paradise as much as I do!

Being so close to the George Fazio & Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Golf Course and only a quick bike ride to the beach or Shelter Cove Marina makes it incredibly convenient. My 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit feels spacious and modern, with plenty of light and updates that make it cozy for me and appealing for renters. The courtyard setting gives it a charming, community vibe, and the gated security keeps everything private and safe. Whether I’m kayaking in the lagoon, biking the trails, or renting it out to families who love the resort’s amenities, my condo is a unique gem that balances relaxation with endless activities in the heart of Hilton Head’s best resort community.
