Across the street from a gorgeous beach and a lush lagoon setting, this stylish 2BR/2BA Seascape Village condo is an ideal tropical retreat. Delight in fun-filled days splashing in the two saltwater pools at the complex or stroll across the street to play in the sand and surf.

You're blocks from Coligny Plaza the heartbeat of the island with dozens of great restaurants, entertainment , shops and grocery store.

With a prime location across the street from a gorgeous beach and a lush lagoon setting, this stylish 2BR/2BA Seascape Village condo is an ideal tropical retreat. Delight in fun-filled days splashing in the two saltwater pools at the complex, or stroll across the street to play in the sand and surf. Enjoy easy access to tennis, championship golf, and a selection of dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

Unwind into vacation mode in the open living area, complete with new furniture. Gather for favorite shows around the 50" smart TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare delicious meals in the kitchen, equipped with a double basin sink and a full suite of helpful appliances.

This two-story condo sleeps six guests comfortably.

The condo was very clean and well stocked with towels, toiletries, and dishes. While the pool was cold this time of year, it was a short walk and clean. The condo is quiet and felt private since it is almost the last one in the row. The complex was nice and quiet as well. We would be happy to stay here again!

The house was very clean and had everything needed. The ante was fine. Our only concern was the outside deck needed cleaning and a new table is needed. Porches need work. We could not sit outside in the mornings.

Very private. Its a beautiful condo. The parking is tight and the complex is hard to back out of. I did want to note that the dishwasher came out of the countertop? The whole encasement was out. We absolutely loved the space and plan on coming back!

This condo was good for a long weekend trip. The unit was clean and comfortable. Maybe I didn’t read the details thoroughly but it was definitely further from the beach than I thought when I booked it. The management is responsive should you have any questions or concerns.

Needs some TLC

The villa was clean and the host was always responsive. The address was unclear as it was shown as North Forest Beach on the VRBO map, but it’s really South Forest Beach. While the appliances in the kitchen are newer, we did very little cooking because the pans were scratched up. We read the previous reviews and unfortunately found that the problems mentioned still hadn’t been resolved. For example, the dishwasher was still difficult to open because it was not attached to anything, the stairs on the lower level were a hazard as there is no handrail and the beach chairs/outdoor equipment were rusty. Also,the main bathroom had a leak above the shower head.

The property was just okay. Kitchen needs more supplies. Not enough outlets. Dishwasher broken (tilts over every time opened). Outside furniture dirty & rusted. Beach chairs dirty and rusted. Grill rusted.

Nicely remodeled condo in a good location; clean & well equipped.

Nice remodel, clean & well equipped. Beds are comfortable & there were lots of towels !The description says this condo would be suitable for seniors (which we are ) that is very far from the truth. It should be noted in the description that this condo has NO downstairs bedroom & NO downstairs bathroom ! You must climb a narrow winding set of stairs to get to either. There are definitely not enough handrails on the steps & it is dangerous ! The dishwasher is not anchored & the whole thing pulls out when you try to open it.Check in did not go well since we were sent the wrong code & ended up checking into a hotel for the first night. I have asked for a refund for the first night but no response as yet. You need to check texts, emails & your VRBO account to try to get the proper check in information. Overall, I would not stay here again because of the layout of the condo. Be aware of the steps !!

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed the stay overall. The unit was just right in terms of size and overall utility. It was clean and relatively well furnished. Few areas of improvement. 1. The address on the website takes you to a different (north) location. Make sure to look up Seascape Villas. Spelling out South Forest Beach Drive might give you better result than using just S. 2. Don't trust the GPS (see 1 above). Refer to the directions that the host provides. 3. The beach is about 10 min walk.. Maybe longer if you carry a lot. Not a bad walk but just plan accordingly. 4. Wished that there was little more basic kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, cooking oil, dish washing sponge). 5. Only had dish washer detergent packet. Bring more if you plan nlon doing dishes more than twice. Our family enjoyed the unit and would definitely stay again in the future.

overall a good rental

Overall, the property was fine. The location pin on VRBO map shows it to be on North Forrest Beach Drive but it is actually on South Forrest Beach Drive. Property could use a good deep cleaning as dishes and pans were dirty. Grill did not work but the property manager was out the following day to fix it.

Happy with our stay

Beautiful neighborhood. It could be difficult if it was peak time for parking. All to be expected from a 50 year old building. Nicely set up with all the amenities you would need. Was a pleasant long walk to beach, but on sight wagon made it great.

Overall the property was fine. The staircase was winding, very small, and potentially dangerous. The patio door didn’t open and close easily and we were not able to enjoy that area. We did enjoy the location and the beach access was easy to find.

Great Location, Slightly Misleading Condo

Would rate a 3.5/5 if I could. I have been staying in Hilton Head for vacation for multiple summers and this was my first time staying in this area. Overall I was pleased and thought the rate was fair. Great accessibility to the beach and popular restaurants in Coligny. The beach was about a 10 minute walk which was a little farther than I expected - the condo is the farthest away from the beach as you can be in the community. The area of the beach is clean and less crowded than main area of Coligny. The property itself was nice, it stayed cool and the TV’s were nice. The photos online were misleading however. The place was outdated and in need of some repairs. It was also smaller than the photos made it look. Overall the place was clean, minus the deck / grill area. The disappointing part was just lack of basic items. There were two trash bags, no seasonings/ condiments at all, no true hand soap besides bars in the bathroom, and one roll of paper towels. If you are staying for more than a few days be prepared to bring the basics.

A comfortable beach respite!

The condo is lovely—stays nice and cool, roku’s/TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, a short walk to the saltwater pool, washer and dryer, two types of coffee makers. Lots of little touches that we appreciated. I will say, it’s a further walk than I thought based on the description. The complex is a two min walk to the beach, but the condo itself is more like 8 minutes. Still, a pleasant walk and parking isn’t assigned, so we moved our car closer to the beach walkway on hot days. My only other minor complaint is that the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut, which made for interesting potty breaks! Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend it.

Expected More

This is a tough review to write, mostly because I did enjoy my stay, especially the proximity to the beach, however, was unimpressed by the property. The positive; the condo does match the photos online and, for the most part, was clean. They have nice appliances and all the necessary supplies for an extended stay. The negative; this unit is in dire need of updates. The bathrooms need some work, as the toilets and tubs certainly need to be replaced. Wood trim where walls meet the floor is missing from spots and looks really bad. There is a rat trap directly outside the front door, which doesn't exactly make for a good first impression. There are ants in the master bed/bathrooms. I understand that it's S.C. in the summer and ants are inside homes, but they shouldn't be where you sleep. New living room furniture would go a long way towards making this condo more comfortable. Once outside, you will have to navigate through the interior of the condo complex upon a forest of pine needles to find your way to one of two undersized pools. Reviews are an important guide to choosing a vacation home. This unit is in a great location, near Coligny Plaza and directly across from the beach. I was left wanting more from a beach condo on this island.

Small but clean property in convenient location

Unit is as advertised, although rooms are smaller than they appear in the pictures. Unit is clean and kitchen is very well stocked. Unit is in need of some plumbing repairs as we had leaking from both showers during our stay. Wifi isnt great, but that seems pretty common across the island. This unit is pretty far back from the street, so the walk to beach is a bit longer than I expected. Restaurants and Coligny plaza are a mile away, so pretty convenient. Pools are clean and in good condition.

Golf, fishing, zip lining, biking, water sports, mini golf, live entertainment the activities are endless.
