Wonderful place to stay!

We love Austin St Retreat. It's quiet, beautiful, and well cared for. We enjoy the tall beds ( and step stools)! It's great to be close enough to walk anywhere we want to go in town. Have stayed here before and will again!

Great Stay

The property was great and cozy, we had everything we needed plus the location was secluded and quiet, yet very short to downtown locations. We will visit this specific property again.

Amazing little place to stay

This little adorable cottage was just what we needed for a little get away! Close enough to the main strip to walk but far enough to relax. Would def go back!

FANTASTIC and close to Main Street shopping, dining, and drinks.

The accommodations were just as expected and needed! Eli's place is where we stayed and the decor plus fireplace was a delight! Breakfast/lunch coupons were an added perk too! My wife and I loved it and will definitely return!

A Much-Needed Getaway

Eli's was just beautiful, and so peaceful. Even though there were others staying nearby, it felt secluded, private, and relaxing - exactly what was needed! Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing

The cabin was beautiful and the town always pleasant. Even had a fox sleeping on our roof to add to the rustic experience.

The Best Home away from home!

We go to Fredericksburg 2-4 times a year and we stay at the Austin St retreat each and every time! It is by far the best place in town! Eli's is our favorite of the group, but there isn't a bad one at the retreat. The whirlpool tub is amazing and the whole location is just terrific!

Eli's cabin

What a great place to stay. Furnished firewood, comfortable bed, very secluded just a few minutes away from the shopping district, and coupons to save at several food establishments. The staff was so friendly upon picking up and dropping off the keys. It was just a great experience.

Eli's

We have stayed at Eli's (and other Austin Street Retreat cottages) numerous times over the past 30 years). While normally very good, this stay was by far the most uncomfortable. The HVAC system was unbelievably loud and kept us up all night while it cycled on and off. Y'all should try insulating the area around the equipment. We won't be back, which is sad since we were married in Eli's 30 years ago.

Nice little place

We had an enjoyable weekend here. The location was great, and the room comfortable. The only issues we had were the VERY tall bed (no steps to help you get up on it), no front porch light (it was there, but never found the switch), and the mess around the patio and courtyard (squirrels having a heyday with green pecans, everything covered with shells).Overall, a nice place.
