We loved the place. The three separate apartments worked out great for the 17 of us. The place was clean, the pool and hot tub were great and we would love to stay there again.

Our stay was enjoyable. We had 13 family members gather for the holiday's, ranging in age from 7 to 87. The property gave us the ability to gather together or find some solitude when needed. The pool and pickle board court were used often. There were some minor issues but they were resolved quickly.We would recommend this property and stay again.

Perfect home for our family reunion!

This is our second stay at this property and we will be back! The three living spaces work perfectly for our family. We loved being in the pool and enjoying the amazing view. We were lucky enough to see a space launch from the Kennedy Space Center directly across the river. The kids enjoyed sunbathing on the pier. The beach towels provided at the property were greatly appreciated. We cooked our meals in; the kitchen is well equipped. It was also nice to have plenty of parking and two covered spots. Overall, I highly recommend!!

Great place for family fun !

The property was amazing with plenty of room for the 24 of us celebrating our annual Family Vacation. The ages of our group went from 1 1/2 to75 years old (young). The space was great to allow togetherness without being on top of each other. The pool, jacuzzi and deck for fishing gave all of us something to do. We rented a pontoon boat and explored a little island to the northeast of the property. We played pickleball on the property court. The Owner and Property Manager were very friendly and welcomed us ! Overall, a super home to provide a setting for our “2024 Family Vacation Making Memories Together” !

Great backyard, views, and main living area!

Our stay was great! The owner/property manager was responsive and we had no issues. It wasn’t clear to us from the listing that the property consists of 3 separate units that are not connected indoors. We used 2 of the units and it worked out quite well for us. Thank you!

Incredible views!

Couldn’t have chose a better place for our softball team. It has such beautiful views. We got up every morning at 7:15am to watch the sunrise and around 8:15-8:30am to watch the dolphin pods swim by. So much space with 3 different “houses.” We are definitely planning on staying again here! Highly recommend.

Beautiful home, beautiful location!

This was our second stay at Herring House for a family reunion. We absolutely loved the space and the incredible views of the Indian River and the two space launches from Kennedy Space Center. JR was a wonderful host and incredibly responsive. The home is well-appointed with everything we needed for a stay with a large family. I definitely recommend it!

Family Reunion

This house was perfect for our 14 person family reunion. Our group ranged from 21-91 years old and it was perfect for everyone. The bedrooms are well appointed and the floor plan allowed for plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen and two dining tables allowed our group to prepare and enjoy big family meals. The pool, dock and corn hole were well used. Our host JR was outstanding and very pleasant to work with. I believe this group would all return for a repeat visit.

Perfect Family Getaway

This house was amazing. The view on the lake was wonderful and great to look out to every morning. We got to witness a rocket launching which was a once in a lifetime experience. The host was beyond great, we had an issue with the a/c that was immediately addressed and he was always available to answer any question that we had. We were about 25-30 minutes way from the beach and about an hour away from Sea World. The nearest Walmart was about 10 minutes away as which worked out great. The house was clean and had lots of features and amenities for our family of 16 adults to stay in with plenty of space. We used the massage chair daily as well as the pool/hot tub. We can't wait to stay here again!

Family Reunion in Florida

The 1st floor of the home is really nice; 4 bedrooms and lots of extras like hardwood, stone and crown molding. The 2nd floor is OK but not as nice as the first floor. The listing has photos of rooms that are not part of the rental Pictures showed a room with 2 beds but that was not on the property. Listing states toiletries provided but that was only bar soap in the showers and hand soap at the sinks, nothing else so bring your own shampoo! Unit also only provides 1 extra roll of toilet paper in each toilet and we had a group of 14 for 6 days and anyone knows that 1 extra roll would not be enough. All said, we had to buy our own. Also, only 1 extra trash bag in the kitchen, seems cheap to rent a 7 bedroom home for over for 5 nights and have to purchase your own trash bags and toilet paper! Lastly, property manager was polite but was slow in answering texts and calls. Took 3 hours to respond to a request for a toilet plunger and with 6 toilets you would think a plunger would be on the site. Again, nope and we had to purchase our own plunger also because of the slow response from the manager. All said, the property was fine and our family had a great time with the pool and view.

Overall it was a fun time. The pool and outside view was excellent. House was very spacious for a large group of 16. The owner stays at property and was easily available when we needed things. Beds are not so very comfortable. The fans were very loud. Couple dead cockroaches.

The house was beautiful and David was by far the best host we have ever had!

David was there for our questions and needs with the outdoor experience and indoor technology. He was extremely fun to talk to as well! Thank you for allowing my family to get together and celebrate my wife and I on our special day! We will be renting again in the future!

Perfect for 20+ family gathering.

Beautiful house with lots of space to spread out!! We had the pool heated. Even on a cloudy and rainy day we were able to enjoy !! The beds were soo comfy and loved the decor and the nice kitchen!! Nice to have the outside comfy furniture!!! It was such a great place. Wish we could have stayed lots longer!!

Absolutely Wonderful!

This property is perfect for groups that want to have a "gathering area" overlooking the beautiful pool, intracoastal and the Kennedy Space Station yet still allowing guests their privacy and personal space. The property manager, Dave, was immediately available whenever we needed him and only when we needed him, which was perfect! He is professional and knowledgeable and very kind! The home, pool and yard are very clean and well-kept. I loved starting the day by sitting on the edge of the dock as the sun came up. So peaceful! Highly recommend!

Perfect!

Absolutely the best place for a family get together, wedding party or any other large event. First Dave was great. If we had any question or issue he was there to help. Thanks Dave! We were there for our sons wedding and had all the family together at one place. Perfect location for all that we needed to do or wanted to do. Close to many activities, beach, fishing, Kennedy Space Center and more. All of us really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, especially the grandkids. The main level was the perfect place for gatherings, meals, games, etc.. I have stayed at a lot of VRBO, HomeAway locations and this one was the best, especially for our venue. We were all talking about coming here again for a family vacation. We will be back if at all possible.

Perfect stay for our family!

This was a much needed vacation for the family in such a neat area of Florida. The home was even better in person than what we thought it would be and David was a great host helping with any needs we had. I would stay again here in a heart beat. My family loved the proximity to a lot of great things to do. It’s only 20 mins drive to Kennedy space center and about 90 mins to St. Augustine. The pool and the dock made a great time with the kids running back and forth pointing at rays going under the dock or the occasional dolphin swimming past. Five stars for the house and for David’s help during our stay. Definitely recommend it for families needing a lot of space.

Outstanding vacation home

We were a large group of college friends reuniting with our families in tow for a week. This is the 3rd time we’ve rented a place together and this home was perfect, perfect, perfect. It was incredibly clean and well-appointed. Everyone had their own space (we were even able to put the teens/tweens in their own “apartment”) and the pool, yard, and dock area made for great gathering spaces. We also got incredibly lucky and enjoyed TWO launches from the backyard—you can see the NASA VAB and all the launchpads easily from the house. There are great beaches within an easy drive and convenient grocery stores, etc. nearby. David checked on the pool each morning and was readily available to answer any questions we had. Our group was so happy with the house. Even when afternoon storms rolled in there was plenty of space to play games and watch movies. And the parking was great/easy for a big group as well (at peak we had 7 cars). Highly, highly recommend. I hope we come back in future years!

Another great family vacation

We had a great time, property with the three separate areas was perfect as we had young kids. David the manager was wonderful, we will deffinately be back!
