Casa Loma

We had an amazing stay at Casa Loma! We were two families in two different villas. The walk between the two is tricky at night as there are no lights and many stairs. But we had headlamps and had no issues with stairs. The location is close enough to walk to a restaurant. But the road has no lights or shoulder and fast cars so it didnt feel safe to do so. The furniture and beds are a bit dated and in a beautiful, lush vegetation which lead to some bugs. We swam and enjoyed the beautiful pools all to ourselves every day and the owner was available and great to deal with once we arrived. It was a great spot for families, close to drive to things but still feel very private with gorgeous views! The brewery in Playa Potrero was fun, lots of great beers and good food and a couple of minutes away driving.

Wonderful

Stayed in Villa 3 with partner and friends, including lower bedroom. The villa and property exceeded my expectations. Igor has created a truly wonderful place to relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings. Villa and area is mature and quiet. My next stay in Guanacaste will surely be here.

INCREDIBLE VIEW OF THE BAY

We very much enjoyed the spacious and well ventilated one bedroom suite which also has a covered and furnished open deck with an incredible view of the bay. Igor and Tom were very responsive to all our inquiries.

Fabulous Flamingo Pacific sunset views

This was our third visit to Villas Casa Loma, our first time in Suite 301, and it was everything we hoped it would be. It is a very spacious, well-equipped one bedroom apartment with a large kitchen and terrace that offers a commanding view to the west over the Pacific. This suite has a substantial elevation so with the prevailing ocean breezes, cooler night time temperatures as well as excellent cross ventilation, air conditioning, though available, was never needed. Our warm & welcoming hosts, Tom & Igor, who live on site, were always ready to answer any questions we might have had or provide any assistance that we needed. Having been owner/operators of Villas Casa Loma for over 30 years, our hosts were eager to provide information regarding local customs and places of interest. There are 2 wonderful pools on site available to guests, immaculately groomed, colourful gardens and lovely beaches close by for walking, running or swimming. As we write this we are making plans to return next winter for a longer stay. We look forward to seeing Tom & Igor and their parrot Lori and hopefully some of the other wonderful guests who became friends and who indicated that they would like to return next year as well.

This place is awesome

We just spent two and half weeks at Villa Casa Loma and it was fantastic. Igor and Tom are gracious hosts and are very knowledgeable about the area restaurants, beaches, activities and tours. The grounds and pool area are immaculately kept and the views are spectacular. The villas are very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The restaurants, beaches and grocery store are all close by. I would recommend that you rent a car or golf cart in order that you can enjoy all of the sites.

What a wonderful escape from cold reality

This was not our first time at this wonderful resort with a view of majestic Pacific Ocean of CostaRica. The management looks after all your needs. Rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, what a pleasant spot to visit in Flamingo. We are returning to this gem again and again. Highly recommended for couples or families that need time to unwind and enjoy the beauty that CostaRiaca has to offer.

5 villas compund in the safest place in Ctrl Ameri

We have just returned from our trip to Costa Rica; where we spent two weeks at this vacation rental. A spectacular place: consists of 5 well built villas on the hill about 50 yards above the sea level; all connected via flush green gardens and surrounding 2 huge pools. This is no HOTEL. It is much more and better!!! Villas are very spacious with each having huge bedroom, kitchen/living room and large bathroom with showers. Each villa has a view of Pacific from its private terrace. As December was little slow before Christmas; owner have upgraded us to another villa....in our opinion: both were great. The area is very safe. My wife and I have recently retired; but felt free to walk or drive around the area...did most shopping at local supermarket walking distance away. We had fully equipped kitchen, but why cook?? The area is abound with at least 10 classy restaurants serving local and international dishes; all within 15 minutes. Owners know them all and since they live there are very knowledgeable about area and Costa Rica. They have recommended to us many day trips. This is home away from home and definitely best way to explore Costa Rica

Paradise Found

As a family of five with three grown boys, this was the perfect end to an active vacation. Having already been canyoneering, zip lining and white water rafting, this was a great, restful end to our trip. Tom and Igor were terrific, very accommodating and although it was a multi-house destination, we truly felt like we were there on our own. Thanks so much Tom and Igor!

Pura Vida

Recently, I was privileged to enjoy a stay at Villas Casa Loma in the Flamingo Beach region of Costa Rica and rarely have I been more pleased by vacation accommodations. The grounds are beautiful, the villas and suites are large and have all of the conveniences western travelers enjoy and the owners are truly wonderful. Tom and Igor are completely dedicated to ensuring that everything meets and exceeds expectations. I particularly loved that there are so many towns, beaches and great dining choices just short distances from VCL, affording a fuller Costa Rican experience. There are more activities available than any family could enjoy in a weeks time frame; I recommend 2 weeks! J This property is also perfect for our Family and Friends trip to Costa Rica in April of 09! The luxury of having access to all 4 villas available at once is like having our own private resort and I am GREATLY anticipating returning. Pura Vida!

After travelling extensively through many countries of the world, we came to Costa Rica for the first time 30 years ago and instantly fell in love with the nature, people, flora and fauna of this gentle country. More than 30 years ago (1989) we purchased a very large natural preserve nestled above the Pacific Ocean in the very sleepy, quiet community of Flamingo Beach in the Pacific North-Western province of Guanacaste. We never looked back - never regretted this decision. In fact, we started by building our first house. Then a guest house, followed by a pool. Before we knew it, we had designed and built a unique complex of beautiful Villas with a large pool - all built with the highest regard for their tropical surroundings and natural setting. From every window or terrace, one can appreciate the magic of Nature. It has been very rewarding personally for us to create this unique little corner of Paradise!
