This spacious private home features 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms (including 4 king ensuites and 1 queen suite) and 5.5 bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 12 guests. Whether you're planning a family vacation, a couples' retreat, or a friends' getaway, Shore Thing has everything you need for a high-end, coastal escape. * All reservations are non-refundable — we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance
* Maximum of 2 pets allowed. Weight limit is 75 lbs. A $250 pet fee applies. All pets must be approved in advance. The fee is to be charged after reservation confirmation.

Ok first - this house and the service were amazing. Just about perfect. We had plenty of room for 8 of us. The kitchen is a DREAM. We didn't get the pool heated and it was so refreshing. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs. The management company was responsive and quickly helped us address the one minor issue we had (which had nothing to do with the house - just a mysterious gold cart parked out front). The location is ideal because you are close to the beach and to shops and restaurants (be sure to check out the market days!), but the neighborhood is very wooded, so you can enjoy a nice walk without having to be in the sun the whole time. What keeps this from being a 5 star review is the beach access. Yes, it's a short and easy walk from the home, but what no one mentioned (I went back and read other reviews and the listing descriptions) is that you have to wade through a lake to get out to the beach. And the lake is murky and brown and maybe full of bacteria due to the warmth. If you have any mobility issues (we had two people in their 80s plus someone with a chronic back condition), this lack of info is unacceptable. If you were with small children & a lot of gear, how in the world are you supposed to get everyone and the stuff out to the beach? You can't take a wagon because the water is up to your waist sometimes. You can't carry a child and all your stuff at the same time. We made it work but it SUCKED. They should be required to disclose this detail!

We had a great stay in the beautiful brand new home. We love the pool and our dogs loved being able to play in the fenced in yard. The house was very comfortable - we had a rainy day so we made great use of the ultra high-speed WiFi and streamed a few shows on our Prime account. The kitchen has just about everything you’d need. Our only suggestion would be non-stick baking sheets to reheat food, as most people won’t bring aluminum foil. The best thing was being the 4th or 5th renter rather than the 100th. The home still has the new house smell and is SO clean. The hosts were great and allowed us a late checkout as no guests were arriving after us. The location is great. Less than a 5 min walk to the beach. You’re right in the middle between Seaside and Rosemary Beach as each are only 10-15 minutes away. We’d definitely rent this home again.

We arrived around 6pm & couldn’t get in the property.After about 35 minutes calling all the numbers given, someone called us back.After about 20 more minutes of trying to get in we still couldn’t.Thankfully there was a keypad on the garage door so we could get in that way.The house is gorgeous BUT as soon as we entered there was a terrible smell that got worse as you entered the stairwell areas.The primary bdrm is on the 3rd floor. A disgusting smell was coming from the shower that was so bad it smelled like something died. There’s a little “wet bar” but the ice maker didn’t work.The ice maker didn’t work downstairs which we later found out the water wasn’t turned on so the property management company brought some ice.The pool was ICE cold and the hot tub didn’t work. There wasn’t even gas ran to it at all. Finally, after communicating with the owner (which by the way took forever and was really annoying after finding out he was local) they sent a plumber to fix the hot tub the day before we left. We were there 9 days.Mentioned in the listing was a storage room,couldn’t use that.The listing also said the house was a minute from seaside, not true. It’s also not a 5 minute walk from the beach. There’s an alarm on the back door leading out to the pool & any time you go out the door or come in it goes off, it’s extremely loud.Lights in bdrms go off & on in the middle of the night.Prop co offered a free night and 500 off but haven’t rec’d that.Prop shld be called lipstick on a pig

We enjoyed this property very much. The kitchen was a chefs dream and the beds were very comfortable. Only wish beach access was better. The access is through the tail end of eastern lake and you have to wade through it to get to beach The kid’s enjoyed the lake better than the ocean it was calmer but wading to other side to set up your spot was a lot and walking from the other side of beach is tough because you have to walk on the wet part of the sand due to the condo owning the beach Property was great pool was great and we enjoyed our time here all Homeowners in this area should work with city to provide a bridge over the lake then it would be perfect!

Had a great stay at a Shore Thing everything was great. We loved the proximity to the beach and some shops and cafes. My only complaint was that the pool was way too hot from the hot tub making it uncomfortable to go in. Beach access is a hike so I would recommend renting a golf cart.
