Really lovely stay. Plenty of comfortable space for all of us (6 people). Our dogs had a safe space to explore and relieve themselves which is a huge plus when we are away from home. Thank you so much for such a great place to land and enjoy Charleston!

The house is exactly as pictured, we only drove to folly beach which was very easy. Hanes is a great host, very helpful and communicative. We will definitely be back again.

Hannes is an excellent host. We had a few questions and he was very quick to respond. The house is perfect for my family of five. The primary bedroom was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! It has an awesome place to hang out outside. Even though it was hot, there’s a fan flowing on us as we hung out at the outdoor dining area. It was very close to the beach and a downtown Charleston. The backyard was fenced in and great for our dogs with plenty of room to throw a ball. I highly recommend this place to anyone and we plan to come back and stay here the next time we are in the area.Thanks Hannes!

This is a lovely place to stay on James Island. The location was very convenient to both downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. The residential neighborhood is out of the fray and very peaceful. Everything was tidy and clean. We particularly enjoyed the dedicated AC unit in the primary bedroom. The ensuite bath had a fabulous shower! Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with utensils, dishware, coffee maker, etc. The house also had a very handy and functional washer and dryer.The fenced backyard was perfect for our border collie-shepherd mix. We spent most of our nights on the back deck winding down from the day and listening to the occasional clucks of the neighborhood chickens. We did not need all 4 bedrooms, but I'm sure this would be great for a larger family.

This property was the perfect stop for our Charleston vacation. The home had everything as listed. The backyard is spacious and great for our pets. Close location in all directions to everything you want to do. We would stay again.

This seems like a great place if you have dogs. I booked mostly because of the location and being a single story house as my parents who are 79 and 80 accompanied me and my husband during this trip.The house was is lived in and floors and bathroom were clean. There is a stain in the bath tub. The master has a shower and was originally the garage. The door to the master has the original door so the lock is actually in the kitchen, a little concerning. There is a washer and dryer. When we arrived the dryer lint had not been cleaned out. The kitchen counter looked clean, however, the toaster oven had crumbs, some of the dishes had bits of food on them and the oven, which we did not use, needed a good cleaning. I let the host know all this so hopefully whoever stays after us does not have these issues. I, personally, could smell the dogs, however, I am sensitive.Overall, if these little problems are taken of, we may consider staying there again for the great location to Charleston and the beach.

This vacation rental was exemplary and was really close to downtown Charleston! The layout of the house was great and conducive to privacy especially since there were two of us couples. The backyard is spacious, contained a nice fire pit surrounded by wood Adirondack chairs which we enjoyed and a large bench swing that added southern charm. The beds were very comfortable and the showers had great water pressure.Upon arrival, we experienced a minor issue and when contacting the host, his communication was quick, and the problem was resolved. Later in our stay, we experienced an issue with the Wi-Fi/Internet and again when the host was contacted, communication was prompt and smooth.
