We've been spending vacations on Sanibel Island since the early 80's. This time, we had a 5.5# dog that was not allowed at the resort where we usually stay...fortunately, she was allowed at Loggerhead Cay #103. It is a conveniently located, spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated condo! There was more drawer space in the bedrooms and bathrooms than we could fill. The pictures in their ads accurately depict the condo and property. The view was beautiful! Based on the ad pictures, we were a little concerned about the short path walk to the beach, but it was no problem at all. Unlike other condos we've rented they provide only enough dishwasher pods for your visit and enough laundry supplies for a few loads - no K-cups, condiments, lotions, shower supplies, or other amenities. However, the kitchen is large and extremely well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, skillets, baking dishes, serving bowls, leftover containers, silverware, toaster, coffeemakers, paper towels, and more. We thoroughly enjoyed eating on the screened-in deck and spending evenings there playing family games. The smaller deck has a storage bin filled with all kinds of things for the beach - chairs, boogie boards, masks, bamboo-type mats, pails, toys, and you name it. The second bedroom has its own exterior entrance. The only thing that we really wished was different was the master bedroom interior glass French doors had no blinds, shades, or other optional covering. That would be no problem for a couple by themselves, but otherwise, a little privacy would be nice. The property is well-kept and includes a beautiful large pool. The check-in/out office is at a remote location. The folks there are friendly and eager to help. We won't bother to research places to stay next time we go to Sanibel - it will be Loggerhead Cay #103!
