GETTING AROUND
Getting Around – Ocean Creek Resort, Myrtle Beach

Ocean Creek Resort is ideally situated for easy access to both local attractions and the broader Grand Strand area. While the resort itself is walkable—with shaded pathways, beach access, and a seasonal tram running from the lodges to the beachfront—having a car is recommended to explore the surrounding area fully.

By Car:
Ocean Creek is just off Highway 17, making it easy to drive to nearby hot spots like Barefoot Landing (right across the street), Broadway at the Beach (20 minutes south), and Myrtle Beach International Airport (30 minutes away). Free parking is available on-site for guests.

Walking:
Guests can comfortably walk to Barefoot Landing, which offers shopping, dining, and entertainment. The resort’s paved paths and secure, gated layout make walking safe and enjoyable.

Rideshare & Taxis:
Uber and Lyft are readily available in this area of North Myrtle Beach. Local taxi services also operate throughout the day and night.

Public Transit:
Coast RTA, the local public bus system, serves portions of North Myrtle Beach, though routes near Ocean Creek are limited. Most guests prefer driving or using rideshare for convenience.

Bikes & Golf Carts:
While Ocean Creek does not rent golf carts directly, several nearby vendors offer both bike and golf cart rentals. Please note that golf carts must follow HOA rules and may not be allowed on all parts of the property.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Mandatory Rental Agreement and Damage Waiver:
We partner with the safe and secure CHARGEautomation system which assists with completion of the rental agreement and damage waiver process. Agreement consent is finalized through payment of the mandatory, non-refundable $35 Damage Protection Fee within 1 hour of booking. The waiver includes coverage for up to $1,000 in accidental damage, providing added peace of mind for your stay.

Parking Limitations: No motorcycles, golf carts, trailers, or golf carts are allowed on the resort property.

Note: We provide 2 cloth dish towels and do not provide paper towels.

POTENTIAL OFFSEASON CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: During the offseason (after Labor Day through before Memorial Day), ALL the resorts throughout the Grand Strand may perform maintenance, renovations, or construction. Guests should expect the possibility of construction noise during daytime hours. Offseason rates are reduced accordingly and already reflect the potential for these activities.

1. Check-In/Check-Out:
Check-in time is after 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability. The rental agreement will be sent electronically and will need to be signed 24hrs before check-in.

2. Smoking and Vaping:
Our property is strictly non-smoking and non-vaping. Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the house or on the balcony/porch. Please use designated outdoor areas for smoking, if available.

3. Pets:
Sorry, but pets are not allowed on the premises. We love animals, but we want to ensure a clean and allergy-free environment for all guests.

4. Quiet Hours:
Please respect our neighbors and maintain quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. No loud music or disturbances during this time.

5. Maximum Occupancy:
The maximum number of guests allowed is 6. Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.

6. Parties and Events:
No parties or events are allowed on the property. This includes gatherings exceeding the maximum occupancy without prior approval.

7. Amenities and Property Care:
Please treat our home with care. Any damages, excessive mess, or missing items will be the responsibility of the guest.
Kindly respect and use the amenities provided responsibly.

8. Cleaning and Maintenance:
A cleaning fee is included in your reservation. We kindly ask that you leave the property in a tidy condition upon check-out.

9. Security and Safety:
Lock all doors and windows securely when leaving the property.
Fire safety: Locate and familiarize yourself with the fire escape routes and fire extinguisher locations.

10. Respect for the Property:
Please respect our property and the belongings within. Do not move furniture or take items outside of the unit.

11. Parking:
Follow parking guidelines and use designated parking areas only. Parking instructions will be sent the day of check-in.
