Welcome to The Leilani House, a 2,100-square-foot home on a private 1/2 acre lot in Poipu. Guests enjoy exclusive access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club with pools, gym and fitness facilities, and tennis courts, just minutes from Poipu Beach.

Ideal for families and multi-generational groups, this home offers four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and an open-concept layout designed for comfort and privacy. A unique highlight is the private upstairs suite that occupies the entire second floor. It includes a separate entrance and en-suite bathroom, making it perfect for grandparents, extended family, or anyone wanting extra privacy while staying close to the group.

The home is located just a 1–2 minute drive from Poipu Beach, Brennecke’s Beach, top restaurants, and shopping, making it an easy and convenient base for exploring the South Shore.

Inside, the home features plank flooring throughout, brand-new furnishings, memory foam mattresses, deluxe linens, and smart TVs. We spent a week here with two families and this house could not have been better suited for it. It was extremely well appointed with everything we needed, from the kitchen to the living spaces, making it easy for both families to be comfortable at once.The big yard was a huge hit with the kids, giving them plenty of room to run around and play. The location was excellent too, an easy walk to the beach, with a couple of other great beaches just a short drive away.A real bonus was access to the Athletic Club. We took full advantage of the pool and fitness amenities throughout our stay, which added a lot of value to the trip.We'd happily book this place again for a multi family getaway and highly recommend it.---Want me to tweak anything, like naming the specific beaches or club, or adjusting the length?

We loved a whole lot about this property. A/C in every room. Beautiful spaces. The kitchen had a bunch of spices and the fridge had some condiments. We loved the proximity to the beaches. We would absolutely stay here again. The one thing that would make this place better is a bit of an upgrade in pest control.

To respond to your pest comment, the house is treated monthly with a local pest control company but being a tropical environment there are pests arounds. This is the first i've heard of any issues at the house and will follow up with them now. Mahalo!

We had such a great stay!

We stayed here for 4 nights and our expectations were exceeded. The house has a great layout, the beds were comfortable, the AC worked, kitchen was well stocked and there was a lot of beach equipment for us to use. I do recommend this house.

This was a beautiful home in the heart of Poipu. It had that wonderful Hawai’i charm with all the modern conveniences. We are a family of 9 and the bed configuration worked perfectly. Each room had its own A/C unit so everyone was able to find the perfect temperature to relax and sleep. When we wanted to enjoy the warmth, sounds, and smells of Kaua’i, we could shut off the a/c and open the house to the screened dining room. It was magical.

Amazing family trip!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights and wish we booked our entire trip here. We had all the beach stuff we could possibly need which made it stress free for us. The kitchen was stocked. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. We already booked here again for next years trip. Thanks Mike!

We’ve been visiting Poipu for years, and The Leilani House is now our go-to spot. The location is great and its tucked away on a quiet lot but just a quick drive to Poipu Beach, Brennecke’s, and great restaurants. The home itself is immaculate and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The gourmet kitchen was stocked beyond our expectations, making it easy to cook big family breakfasts before heading out for the day. Air conditioning was a welcome comfort after afternoons in the sun.

The Leilani House is hands down the nicest vacation rental we’ve stayed in on Kauai. So happy we chose Mike’s place—it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—even thoughtful extras that made the stay feel extra special. The location was perfect, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the overall vibe was warm and welcoming. Mike was a responsive and gracious host who clearly cares about his guests. Great stay with the family

This house is an absolute gem. Set on a private half-acre, we had total privacy you just don’t find in most vacation rentals. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities. A fully equipped kitchen, AC, laundry, and a huge selection of beach gear. The private upstairs suite was a dream for my parents, who could come and go without disturbing the rest of us. Afternoons at Poipu Beach snorkeling and spotting turtles, and evenings grilling fresh fish on the barbecue. Everything about this home feels both luxurious and welcoming. We’re already planning our return.

Amazing Stay! Highly Recommend!

I stayed here with family and am so happy we picked this house. It has 4 nice size bedrooms. The entire second floor is basically one big private master suite with a private full bathroom, a king bed, a sleeper sofa, and extra sitting. Its HUGE! My siblings stayed there and loved the private entrance since they could come and go without disturbing the kids. One of the bedrooms has two queen beds in it which the kids loved being able to all be together. The kitchen was really well stocked and had everything we possible could need. It had a spice rack which i've never seen at a rental. The house was very comfortable and we LOVED the AC. They just installed it in the family room too and we were the first guests to enjoy it. I even bumped into the AC guy as they were finishing up when we arrived. The beds were also so comfortable!The location is perfect. Under a 1 minute drive to Poipu Beach. Less than a 2 minute drive to multiple restaurants and shopping and even a farmers market. Everything is so close and they had a wagon, beach umbrella, chairs and so much more beach stuff it was more than we expected.I highly recommend staying here and Mike was so easy and had great communication. Cant wait to come back!

Had a wonderful time at Leilani House! It was clean, temperature was great upon arrival and it was close to shops and restaurants. It seemed it was newly renovated which was not in the description on VRBO making the house even better!! Would highly recommend :)

Clean and spacious, great for groups. However, we could not do laundry so that was a downfall. The pool and amenities are kind of far from the house, not walking distance, and we didn't get any instructions how to use them.

Aloha Jamie, Thank you for your review. I'm glad you found the home clean, spacious, and well suited for groups. I apologize that the dryer malfunctioned during your stay. We replaced it as quickly as possible, but I understand that not having laundry available was an inconvenience. Regarding the amenities, the home includes access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, which is less than a one minute drive from the house. While it isn't an easy walk, many guests choose to drive over. The club access instructions were included in the pre-arrival email and in the home's digital guidebook. I'm sorry if those were missed, and I'll look at making them even more visible for future guests. Thank you again for your feedback, and we appreciate you staying with us.
