Terrific property/grounds are perfect

11 nights was nice and quiet and everyone very friend, lots of turtle right off the sea wall, great snorkeling just down the beach. Place was dialed in and office people were very nice and efficient upon check in and very helpful. Thanks!

The regular manager was out the week that we were there, and she is very attentive normally. The bed was so horrible I had to sleep on the couch for a week. I thought it was one of those adjustable air mattresses so I looked everywhere for a remote control. I emailed the info desk and never received a response. Additionally, I don't feel like the unit was cleaned very well. There were ants/bugs in the kitchen and bathroom, which do go away with normal spraying treatment. I gutted the kitchen and scrubbed the entire thing and sprayed for ants and mostly they went away. But I found several areas that had crumbs under a table and it just wasn't cleaned thoroughly. I think this happened partly because of the extreme amount of furniture and pillows loaded into this unit. It was stuffed full! I ended up packing half the furniture and pillows out of the way so I could be comfortable. It was just too much. As I've said, I have stayed at this property multiple times and the management and location is outstanding. But this unit needs some help.

I am disappointed that the smoking area was removed. I do not smoke, but my girlfriend does. It was nice to have a safe and comfortable area. Now its 2 chairs in a dark corner. It is not safe. Plus, the chairs at the BBQ area have been removed. And no bench outside the office to sit at. These are all things that set the Kulakane apart from the rest. Now it feels like just another condo complex that really does not take into consideration their guests. Very disappointing. I guess it's a new management company. I recommend getting rid of the new management company and going back to what it was. A unique and friendly condo complex.

This condo had an amazing view. It had all the stuff you need to enjoy your stay. We cooked a few days during the week and had what we needed in dishes. There is a roach or waterbug issue. They were on their backs dying. We just swept them up and got rid of them so we wouldnt have to see them. It was nice to be so close to the pool but sometimes people were loud. Mornings and evenings were always quiet. The breeze coming through the condo was amazing. We could walk to a small market/shops or to a park down the road. We had a great time.

It has everything you need with the pool and ocean just steps away. We feel like we're at home and Deb and Tony along with other owners of different units are amazing to share special times with. Highly recommend the Kulakane. One downfall to this unit is it is right next to the walkway that has bright lights. We knew about it ahead of time and it didn't bother us but others might see it as a little bright. Overall, you can't go wrong with unit 109.

I am happy to be living in paradise and I live on the property that I manage. When guests book any of our condos, I will be here to greet you personally. I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 7 and Great grandmother of 2 and I adore my family! I encourage them to come see me as often as possible as they all live on the main land. What a place to come visit Grammie and Grandpa, right?

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

There are so many little shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condos. There are also food trucks just down the street from here across from the Times Supermarket, which is less than a mile from the condos. Guests go get their take out food and come back and eat on their lanai's and watch for turtles. Honokowai is a very nice little neighborhood between Ka'anapali and Kahana.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We are a small 42 condo complex directly ocean front. Every condo has the same amazing view. You can see Honu (sea turtles) in the surf out front every day and during the whale season, you can watch those play all day as well. We have a Pupu (appetizers, potluck style) party every Friday night at sunset. Hawaiian tradition is to blow the conch shells at sunset every evening to each point on the compass. We do that every evening. It's a very friendly homey kind of place that I think you'll love.
