Welcome to The Mountain View Villa, a spacious 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom ski-in/ski-out townhome at Lutsen Mountain. Located within Caribou Highlands Resort, this upscale retreat offers plenty of space for families and groups, plus a private in-unit sauna for relaxing after a day of North Shore adventure.

Resort Amenities: Pools, hot tubs, and shared amenities are HOA-managed and may close without notice. Availability is not guaranteed, and refunds are not provided for amenity closures.

Ski Access: Ski-in/ski-out access depends on Lutsen Mountains operations, weather, snow conditions, and trail availability and is outside the host’s control.

Rental Agreement: A short registration form must be completed after booking and before check-in details are released.

Cancellation Fee: A 3% cancellation fee applies to all cancellations.

Weather: Refunds are not provided for weather, environmental, air-quality, or related travel disruptions, including late arrivals or early departures. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

The townhome is very clean. Newly renovated. The bathrooms are amazing. We loved it. We stay at CH quite a bit and this property is worth a look. Communication with the host was impeccable. If you’re looking for a large group home this is your place. We loved it!

Clean and very nice. Host is extremely responsive. Sauna , did not work- but not an issue in summers. Cooling system is a little funky. Basement much colder than the rest of house. Overall a good place. Would gladly stay there again.

The condo was awesome and fit our family so well. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked, we loved the ski in ski out. Shayla was responsive and helpful.

This is a newly remodeled unit and very well done. Perfect location near the pool and restaurant easy to ski out. Sauna is a big plus after a day on the slopes.Check in, etc was simple and our host was very responsive.Highly recommend this unit.Tim

We absolutely love the Lutsen area for its views and centralized location on the North Shore. This property has spectacular views, a great open-concept main floor, and is conveniently close to the restaurant and pools. The record player and large selection of records were a great surprise. North Shore Winery is also nearby and is a fantastic place to visit. They have some decent wines and wonderful atmosphere. The property was clean and check-in was easy. Shayla was amazing at responding quickly to messages before and during our stay.Unfortunately, there were several issues, especially considering the price. We had a few specific criteria when booking:• Location: Between Lutsen and Grand Marais—perfect.• Washer/Dryer: We specifically wanted laundry because we were coming from the BWCA. It was advertised as having a washer/dryer, but there was none.• A/C: We wanted A/C because August can get warm. The A/C stopped working halfway through our stay.• Pool/Hot Tub: Both were available at the attached hotel, but the chlorine levels were so high they damaged swimsuits.• Sauna: The sauna was fairly new but never worked during our stay.• Four Bedrooms: Yes, but the master shower has a drainage issue. You must be extremely careful, or water will flood the main floor.Overall, we loved the location, views, and layout, but several advertised amenities were unavailable or broken. For the price, we expected the property and amenities to be in much better working order.

We sincerely apologize that the washer and dryer were listed in error and were glad we could compensate you for that inconvenience. We wish we had known the A/C was not keeping up and that the sauna was not working during your stay, as we would have been happy to address both right away. The A/C was remedied on the day of checkout, and the sauna issue was traced to a sensor connection that could also have been quickly resolved. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall and would truly appreciate the opportunity to host you again and exceed your expectations.
