Convenience! Very close to Canyon Lodge - a 10 minute walk for those in shape. Condo is on 3rd floor so luggage must be hauled up the stairs, which for us was no problem but for anyone older this might be an issue. Condo is on a hill so walk to Canyon Lodge in winter is best if skiis/snowboards/boots are left in condo-owned locker (which was PERFECTLY located and so, so convenient!!!). Then, drop ski equipment off in locker at end of day and walk home in your comfortable boots. Many heat sources, including so-easy-to-use gas fireplace, kept us warm and comfortable. Kitchen is a good size. VERY convenient to have 2 bathrooms with showers in both. Loved the book and CD collection. Also enjoyed the various art and knick-knacks around the house - some antique, some quirky, but all well-curated for the perfect mountain condo. Just minutes away from Canyon Lodge and Austria-Hof also means round-the-clock access to food nearby. You can also walk to Canyon Lodge and take free gondola into Village without having to drive (another perk!) and there is a small, but well stocked, grocery store in Village on Meridian to pick up a few things and bring them back home with gondola. Best of all in winter - indoor garage so no wasting time with hot water pots and scrapers in the morning. We will stay here again! (One last thing - we love that there are NO PETS ALLOWED! This is critical for us because sadly, while we love having furry things close by, our family is highly allergic and it was so great to stay in a place where we did not have to worry about pet hair and dander. No matter how clean a cleaning-crew tries to get a place, if there have been pets there, we all start sneezing/wheezing wildly, so we LOVE that no pets are allowed. This is one of the top attributes we look for when we rent a house/condo. (Also love that you don't hear barking when you're on vacation :-)!
