The Space: Originally designed and built for the “spinster” sisters, the Murphy house was purchased by French artist “Murphy” which now is the properties namesake. This beautiful historic district property is the perfect location to tap in to Savannah history while being close to everything Savannah has to offer. Step inside and enjoy a beautifully restored common area with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and tall windows that fill the space with natural light. The kitchen is fully appointed with modern appliances, rich blue cabinetry, cookware, dishes, a Keurig coffee maker, and all the essentials to cook and dine in. Stream your favorite shows on smart TVs or unwind with a book in the cozy living area. A pull-out sofa offers extra sleeping space and flexibility for groups or families.

The updated bathroom includes a walk-in shower and comes stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay—plush towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer. High-speed WiFi is available throughout the unit, and a washer/dryer is located on the first floor for your convenience.
Guest Access: The entire apartment is set up for your use. We encourage you to enjoy the rear porch - perfect for morning coffee :) Please note this old home has been converted into several apartments, so there are multiple groups in the building - please be respectful of your neighbors.

Getting Around: Are you driving into town? There are no parking spaces directly available outside the unit. Still, you can park your vehicle at the Liberty Parking deck just minutes away and enjoy easy transit and walking for the remainder of your stay! Circling the downtown, you will see Old Town Trolleys, a great way to get around. Get in touch with us to receive your DISCOUNTED ticket. A free trolley-style City transport bus called the "DOT Shuttle" also picks up and will make a loop around the Historic District. The closest stop for this one is just a block down the street at the corner of Drayton & Perry! Want more options? Download the city’s local version of Uber called “The Downtowner.” Simply download the app, and they will pick you up for free!
Other Things to Note: Please be respectful of your neighbors in the building, particularly those below you - try and keep noise levels down to a reasonable volume between 10Pm - 8AM. Absolutely no parties. Only the number of guests listed on the reservation is permitted at the property. No illicit activities, peddling, or soliciting are allowed on the property. Do not smoke on the property or near the apartment. Report all damaged property to the property owner immediately. Treat the apartment with respect, as if it were your property.
