Charming 19th Century Craftsman in the Heart of Wine Country-Pet Friendly!

Historic 19th Century Home | Wine Country Retreat| Pet Friendly

Escape to the Chehalem House, a beautifully restored 19th-century Craftsman nestled among the rolling vineyards of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Located on a working vineyard just minutes from Newberg, this inviting retreat offers guests an authentic wine country experience surrounded by scenic views and the rhythm of vineyard life. Perfect for mid-size groups, friends, and families, Chehalem House is an ideal setting for a memorable getaway in the heart of wine country.

Each of the 5 bedrooms is uniquely decorated—2 queens, 2 fulls, and a twin/trundle—blending modern comfort with historic details and original woodwork. Start your day with coffee on the porch as sunlight dances across the vineyards.

Two spacious living areas, a large dining table, and a cozy nook make it easy to unwind, play games, or share meals. Whether it’s a quiet read or a movie night, there’s space for everyone.

Front and back porches overlook the valley and vines—perfect for sunrise coffee, sunset wine, and cozy evenings with friends and family.

Highlights
• Nestled in a vineyard setting, centrally located to all the Willamette Valley has to offer
• Fully equipped kitchen and 2 comfortable living spaces
• Spacious front and back patios with BBQ

Pet-Friendly: Dogs are welcome for a $50 pet fee.

Traveling with a pet? We love our four-legged guests! For everyone's safety, please keep pets leashed whenever they are outside the home and supervise them at all times.

You will find a complimentary bottle of Stoller Family Estate wine at the home upon check in.

We can’t wait to host you!

Our bachelorette party had a great time at this house! Everything was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! The home is older but the kitchen is very modern, and had nearly everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We loved this house!

The Chehalem House was a hidden gem! The house was clean, beds were comfortable and they left some special touches that made our stay special. The property was also set on a gorgeous winery with great views.

The home is breathtaking! Its craftsman style blends in with the foliage. Beautifully decorated, each room was good sized with comfortable beds. The bathrooms were well done. The grandkids loved the flora and fauna and enjoyed taking long hikes. They loved the creaks and and sounds of the house. It is isolated but close to everything you need. I would definitely recommend this house and will visit again.
