We spent 2 nights for a girl’s weekend and had a great time. Great location with a big porch and gorgeous view of the lake. The check-in process was super easy and we had good comminication with the host. Beds were comfortable and there were extra sheets for the futons. We were also able to bring our dog which was great. My only suggestion would be to add more pots/pans for cooking and maybe a rug for snowy shoes at the entrance. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone!

It was nice! And would amazing in the summer! We went in wintertime, so it was a little cold and took a bit to get the heat where we needed it, but is was nice. Parking does suck at in downtown Lake Placid, so as long as you’re good finding a spot, you’ll be good.

This apartment was perfect for our weekend in Lake Placid! Incredibly clean & well-maintained. Plus, the location and view is hard to beat! It snowed all weekend and it felt so magical watching it from the cozy apartment. Would love to return during the summer to take advantage of the deck!

It was a great location and very clean. Needs wash cloths and ice cube trays. Other than that, it was great .

Apartment was pet safe except for the deck staircase. Inside of the washer found a dirty rag/towel and sheets were left in dryer. Clean towels(???) were thrown on a rack and except for 6 towels, rags in my garage look better. Ceiling paint peeling and hanging(see photo) and there was a big hole in the screen door.Bathroom door was dirty and certainly needs to be cleaned/painted (see photo). The stairs leading down to the apartment were stained and filthy. The deck needed much work too.The alleyway to dispose of trash adjacent to the apartment was gross. The 2nd alleyway on the other adjacent side was inaccessible but could be seen from the deck and the street was also gross. First night (Friday 10/3)did not sleep much due to loud noises above. Second night 12:15 am to 1:30am sounded like motor running, carts rolling across floor and numerous extremely loud pounding all over sounding like a bowling ball dropping. We decided to leave after that experience and left one day early. In the morning while we were packing to leave we noticed debris on the bedroom floor. Looked up and saw a big hole (see image)and could see into the unit where saw movement. While leaving we noticed the door was open in the apartment above our rental and it was being fully renovated. Refund warranted!!!

The balcony and dock are amazing. The location is absolutely perfect. The town of lake placid and all it surroundings are at your finger tips here.The two rooms, one with one queen bed and one with two queen beds were perfect.The living room and tv were easy to use.The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked and everything worked. It was such a win for our family.

An incredible property in the heart of downtown lake placid. There is a little noise from the restaurants near by but very manageable. The “private” dock is a wonderful plus and we couldn’t have been happier with the location.
