But have to say we were disappointed in renting a “Penthouse” and finding it was no more than a 2 bdrm condo. Nice, clean, and spacious. But elements like kitchen cookware and kitchen amenities overall, need replacement and more character and welcoming needs updating to condo. Too sterile.

The staff was friendly and very helpful, the beach was clean and not too crowded, and the condo was perfect!! Lots of space, clean, well stocked and a great location. We will be back!! My only suggests being your own pillows. The ones they had were lumpy.. lol.

Not worth the money

Reviewer Comments: The dishes in the cabinet were all dirty, caked on egg and food from whoever stayed there last, half of the silverware looking like it had been used and put back in. Blinds were broken, bed was FULL of sand like the sheets had never been washed, plus there were stains on the blanket. The windows in the bed room were taped shut with blue tape. None of the sinks drained when we went to use them. The hot water ran out after 5 minutes of use so no one could use the bathroom. . Initially staff was super friendly but when we came down to check out the acted like he couldn’t be bothered to look at us. Not sure where the resort fees and $150 cleaning fee are going but it’s definitely not for cleaning and upkeep.

Reviewer Comments: Love coming to Okaloosa (Nautilus Condos) in September or October every year for a relaxing way to recharge from the hectic summer and for the Holidays to come. From the slower pace of early fall and the pounding waves just beyond the wonderful end unit balcony, this condo never disappoints. It keeps you coming back year after year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is ok but the floors and furniture were not very clean when we arrived. We had to clean and wipe down things. The balcony below had people smoking constantly and talking very loud and it caused some problem for us enjoying the balcony as much, and our balcony had a dirty table and chairs. The unit was older and some things remodeled, but bathrooms and bedrooms still dated. The kitchen was a good size but not having any cooking items at all, coffee filters, no toiletries at all, and no additional additions was surprising for the price as most condos at least have some items left over to use. It made for many trips to the store and also having to only have minimal towels was difficult. The office staff was nice and check in was easy. The beach was beautiful. It was a great location but the property definitely didn't provide as nice of amenities or cleanliness as the other condos in the area that we have stayed. The maintenance staff did a great job being visible and working around the condo exterior. The price per night for the unit seemed high for an older unit at off season, but it worked for what we needed. Pictures do make it seem newer and cleaner than it is though. I would stay again but would like it to have some additions and be cleaner next time.

Had great views of the Gulf and would leave the windows open at night to hear the crashing waves, so peaceful.
