Short stay

Property was great and well equipped. It was close to restaurants and grocery/shopping. During our stay the air conditioner stopped working and after my call they sent someone in about 10 minutes and the problem was fixed right away. I would definitely stay again!

Great for family vacation

Walk to beach was about 6-7 minutes. Not bad at all. We also enjoyed the pool. Loved how quiet the resort was. Condo was great. Beds were decent but sofa was stiff. Remodeled bathrooms were very nice. We looked at many other rental options and this was a great value compared to others. Kitchen was well equipped too. Having a washer / dryer in the condo was convenient for us but it is a smaller one. A/C stopped working our last night which was a bummer. Overall it was a very nice place for our family vacation. It was our first time to Destin.

Family Vacation

We have stayed at 2 other Hidden Dunes cottages and this one was the best so far in terms of being the total package for our family. Me, my husband, my husband’s mother in law, as well as our 10 year old and 6 year old boys had lots of room to spread out. The spiral stairwell and loft was the perfect place for the kids to chill. We really enjoyed how newly renovated and clean everything was. There wasn’t a lot of clutter and the main area was bright and spacious! We felt really fortunate to be able to sit and chill on the screened in porch and watch the boys come and go from the pool right below. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes- really close by and a pretty walk. The managers of this property make it really simple and easy. I’m notorious for missing emails etc but they made the communication touch points really simple and concise. We would for sure book again!!

We Loved It!

Everything was beautiful, just like the pictures showed and no problems with the cleanliness. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all we needed and the master bath shower as fantastic, but the others were very nice, too. It was just a short walk to the very large and well kept pool and we walked to the beach as well. The grounds were beautiful and felt very safe in this area. We didn't want to leave and hope to be back again soon. We would love to stay in this condo again!

Quick Weekend trip

The condo is everything that it says it is! The photos were spot on! The condo is a VERY QUICK walk to the beach. It took approx 5-7 walking to get to the private beach entrance! It was so nice to be where there were no crowds and peace and tranquillity. You have view of the pool from the patio of the condo, and it’s a quick 1 Minute walk away Definitely would stay again!

The cottage is as pictured and I give it an overall okay rating. The unit needs refreshing and updating, especially in the master bedroom, where there are burn marks on the carpet and water stains on the ceiling. Kitchen is stocked okay but could use a better variety of cookware (e.g. cookie sheet/sheet pan and a 2-3 quart saucepan). Guest bathroom has no counter space, drawers or medicine cabinet for storing personal items. Intermittent construction noise from the adjoining unit was unexpected and unappreciated. All in all, the unit was just okay. Newman Dailey gets 5 stars though for service and responsiveness. Definitely will come back to Hidden Dunes, just not to this unit.

Beautiful colors and updated bathrooms. Not enough sitting in the living room for 6 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen really small. Washer sounds like it is a rocket ship and when asked for it to be looked at, told couldn't fix until quit working! A/C was out one night but fixed within the hour. Patio only has sitting for 4, neither living room or patio area good for all family members to be together, needs more sitting in both. Unfortunately that is what you want to do when you have 3 families coming together. We have been coming to Hidden Dunes since 1986. This unit doesn't compare to others we have stayed in.

Wonderful vacation venue! Highly recommend

My family had a terrific time staying at this property in Hidden Dunes. Six of us comfortable stayed in this 2BR with a loft house....my husband and I, our 2 sons (17 and 13 y/o), and each son brought a friend.. We enjoyed the proximity and access to the beach, the free Consierge beach chair/umbrella (daily), the use of the tennis court/basketball court, and the great location of the property so close to the outlets and Bay Towne. Very clean, full kitchen (with all items necessary to cook full meals), comfortable beds, extra linens, plenty of towels, and TV’s in every room,. Everything we needed and more. ALSO...property managemeht team was easy to work with for reservations and checking....and pleasant/helpful when called during our stay yo ask a question. We enjoyed a fun, relaxing vacation! Highly recommend this property!

Pictures does no justice. When I walked in I was amazed! It was so beautiful and clean.

Been coming to Destin for the last 5 years renting beach homes and condos, This is one if the best and the front office staff was amazing. One of the security officers was rude with an attitude, but overlooking him our stay was perfect! Will be back.

we really enjoyed our stay. the cottage was very nice and all the staff we met were very nice people. a knob broke in one of the bathrooms and was fixed within a short time. it is a beautiful cottage and well worth it.
