We loved our stay, the place was great! , really enjoyed the surroundings and view from both decks, loved everything about it! Would definitely rent again if we needed to.

Great Family Home

We stayed here with my family, including 4 children 2 and under and it was great! They love playing in the bunk bed room with all the toys that were already there! The kitchen had everything you’d ever need, location was very convenient to town and overall nice house and stay.

Great house, lovely stay

Our group of family and friends had a great time at this house. It was very well-stocked, clean, in excellent condition and very comfortable. Good location, we enjoyed going to town and to the nature center. Lots of space for the kids to hang out too. Would definitely stay again!

Special Family Memories

We loved our time at Peaceful Pines!! All of the bedrooms were so lovely. Lots of space for family meals, games and movies. The decks had beautiful views with extra nice patio furniture and a great spa too.

Beautiful Cabin

We had an amazing stay at the cabin from March 26 to April 1, 2025. Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful, clean, and well-stocked accommodations. The kids had a blast playing games, while we took advantage of the hot tub, deck, and the stunning views surrounding us. It's a perfect spot for relaxation and family fun. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to explore and enjoy the area.

Relaxing with a view

Spent a lot of time enjoying the cabins deck enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. We alway love the quant shops and friendly people in town. Fantastic hiking. We’ll be back.

Excellent Choice

The house has a beautiful view from the deck. It was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with plates and dishes and pots and pans. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with good bedding. Jacuzzi was hot and running when we arrived and fit 4 people easily. Would really recommend to anyone staying in Idyllwild.

Wonderful house, wonderful setting

Perfect for our needs. Able to accommodate whole family including kids, adults and handicapped grandmother (she stayed in the master bedroom on ground level to avoid the stairs. Highly recommended.

It was Perfect!!

They thought of every need to fully function in the cabin. From dog friendly treats to everything you need to cook a great meal for the family. The views from the cabin are gorgeous and the entire place was super clean. I truly enjoyed sitting on the patio reading with my coffee.

It was such a lovely space to hang with my close friends. The view on the balcony is beautiful! The town is walkable so you don’t need to drive into town. Host responded right away when I had a few questions.

Heaven in Idyllwild

Definitely wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Everything we needed for our family weekend. Including great air conditioning, fast wifi, views, hot tub, and a kitchen with everything we needed to cook meals and gather in multiple rooms all weekend long. And my Tesla loved having a charger right outside our door!

Our family has a multi-generation ladies weekend each year, and this year we chose Idyllwild for our destination. We were thrilled with the selection of this home for our event. We spent one day in town enjoying the lovely stores and friendly residents. We spent our second day at the home doing some fun crafts and just enjoying the views, watching the squirrels and birds, had a BBQ on the Blackstone grill, watched movies, played games, and just enjoyed being together. The home is beautiful, well appointed, the master bathroom is top-notch, the kitchen is well stocked for any type of cooking and baking you want to do. We hope to return to this home in the future for one of our annual events and other reasons to just get away and relax.

It is a very well equipped house, enjoyed the nice BBQ (blackstone) and the porch; the downstairs kids room was a problem; it smelled like cat pee or cat nip or something and the kids hated being in there; but the rest of the house was nice. It was very dog friendly, thanks.

The perfect escape

Loved this rental. Looks small from outside but it is spacious enough for private sleep and small enough for together time. My kids loved having their own bunk beds. Everything updated and the central heating made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend, would definitely book again in future!!

Nice home with great views

This home was spacious, clean and comfortable. There were three adults and five children. It was nice having the upper level for the adults while the children can hang out on the lower level in the bunkbed room. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the upper patio, looking out to the mountains.

Cozy Cabin with Thoughtful Touches and Relaxing Vibes

Our stay at this mountain cabin was nothing short of amazing! The cabin was cozy, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and beautiful outdoor deck made our stay so relaxing. Our teens and their friends, especially enjoyed the hot tub. The owners truly went above and beyond, even providing a special section of supplies just for our pets, which was such a thoughtful touch! Their hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home. We even got to wake up to snow on our last day there. We can't wait to come back!

Great communication with host. Arrived late evening and code wasn’t working. Texted host not thinking I would get a response at 11:55pm, but 30 seconds later received a message with the updated code. Thankful for the timely communication and responsiveness.

Beautiful mountain retreat

What a beautiful and well thought out home. The kids room was a favorite for sure. There were so many fun games. We found games everywhere and played them all! We loved that in the kitchen. There were already spices and oil and things we needed for cooking. The Blackstone grill was so cool. We have always wanted to grill on one and with that view, it was pretty amazing. It got pretty chilly at night, but with the heaters, it was perfect inside. The Jacuzzi was also such a fun treat. there were tons of towels and the washer and dryer was so helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The place was wonderful! It had all we needed. The owner called concerned for our safety the day we left because of the snow that had arrived. Super nice. The view was breathtaking. Idyllwild was always our vacation spot but this was 1st time at this home. Thank you!

Wonderful home close to Idyllwild village center and walking distance to the Idyllwild Nature Center and hiking trails. The house was spacious, with four bedrooms, including a huge kids' bunk room, multiple patios and outdoor seating, and incredible sunrise views of the mountains.

Very comfortable and homey

We absolutely loved our time at this rental. Lot's of quality family time playing games and enjoying the snow/scenery. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The bbq grill was actually a hibachi, which was fun to use. I really only have one gripe and that is/was the deck was under repair so a portion of it was off limits. Great place overall!

Great Getaway!

My group had the best time! There were 10 adults, a 1.5 yo, and two dogs and our group fit so nicely in this home. The home is also stocked up with everything you could need from extra sheets, blankets, games for fun, a kitchen full of utensils/cookware, and even some toys for the baby. The two living areas were perfect for our group activities and when we needed some space to separate out. The deck which wraps around the cabin was awesome and we loved enjoying time out there from sunrise to sunset. Also, the hosts were SO nice, reaching out ahead of time to see if we needed anything else before we arrived. Already miss it wish we were all still there!
