What an amazing home. We normally stay at one of the beach resorts but decided to do something different this year, so we could all be in the same house rather than separate hotel rooms.We are hooked and we come to Galveston often for short getaway. We plan on booking this same house in the future.

The house was clean. The beds were comfy. The air conditioning was great. It was close to the beach and down town. Overall a wonderful stay. I would stay there again.

Great Historical home. Some old Spanish style flair, dark and mood calming , Overall a great place to relax. We were there for a work trip but I brought my kids with me and it was great. Would recommend !

The house is beautiful - packed with amazing art and quirky features. Very clean and comfortable. The downstairs area was fantastic and the yard was beautifully landscaped. The views of neighboring properties brought down loveliness a bit, but everyone kept to themselves and we had no issues.

Locks were unusual and required a call to better understand how they worked. Coffee pot didn’t work. The backup did work. Furniture fit the style of the home but was not the most comfortable. It was a great location and we did enjoy our time in Galveston.

House was lovely. Neighborhood not so great. Trash can outside was overflowing when we checked in, we had to put our bags next to it. Lots of ants. Hot tub had too much chlorine. Keurig leaked water all over counter. Lots of broken glass in back yard around fence line, had one kid cut her hand.

The owners of this property or corporation need to take a hard look at what’s going on here. The home is in desperate need of a furniture re-do, with dirty, uncomfortable, poorly maintained living room couches, a primary bed that you have to roll out of to get out of, tchotchke decor strewn through the home included odd pictures on every wall instead of a single hook for a towel or washcloth to be hung up. Each bed lacked pillows, and looked nothing like the photos online making sleeping at night uncomfortable. Window shades only in two bedrooms made it odd to have all three neighborhood homes and passerby’s watching your every move. Bathrooms had left over empty bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash just sitting there for who knows how long. Sinks were structures not meant for bathroom use leaving one without even a counter top and one so small you didn’t have room to wash your hands or brush your teeth.The worst of it, the big infestation and bug bites from flys upon arrival from a previous guests full trash can left behind outside (we took it to the curb the next day) and the massive amount of ants all over the living room and couch that bit my kids throughout our stay.This was a 1 stay home that needs work, bug remediation, new furniture and upkeep. They also want you to do the laundry upon departure. Hot tub was sandy and had a greasy film on top, we didn’t even get in. We reported issues with no response. Asked for pillow cases never brought.

Host delayed responses over and hour and none at all.Property was unmaintained, dirty , moldy, extremely uncomfortable beds, and furniture, appliances that did not work properly, food on plates I. The cabinetNo blinds on any windows in front and had what looked like a camera facing into the home.Views are of trashed backyards and vehicles on blocks.Bushes blocking being able to use the hand rails to stairs. Not safeHot tub and patio all molded, stinky, rundown , rusted and spray paint marks.There isn’t a community pool, it’s a public pool and cost to enter.I was charged 350 I. Host fees which they said were included with the cost of nightly stay and no hidden fees.Host not responding to me or VRBO to resolve/ refund
