Walk into a beautifully styled apartment with a spacious master bedroom with a comfortable king bed, and a large upstairs bedroom with two cozy queen beds and a game room! Soak upsome sun on our rooftop patio, or go out to shop on Baxter Ave and grab some food and drinks! Book your stay with us today!



The Space:

This beautiful 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit features a cozy kitchen, living room, private patio, and comfortable beds: one king and two memory foam queens. Staying in? Stream your favorite shows on Hulu, Disney+, or ESPN. Want to head out? Walk to amazing restaurants and bars just steps away in the heart of the Highlands.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire loft space on the second floor, as well as the back patio.



Other Things to Note:

This is a second-floor unit with a two-story loft. Please note there is no elevator in the building, so guests will need to use stairs.



Off-street parking is available and located in the back of the building in a gravel parking pad.



Interaction with Guests:

I like to give guests their space, but if you need anything at all, I’m always just a call or message away and happy to help.

We enjoyed our stay and the owner was great with communication throughout the process which helped tremednously. Many walkable options for a variety of restaurants in the area which was nice as well. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in Louisville.

Great place to stay. Very cool vibe from the neighborhood. Great pub to eat at right next door, and many other pub/ restaurants in walking distance. Also a Walgreens, Insomnia Cookies and to-go BWW. The rooms were very clean. Nice patio/deck to relax on. Two women travelers and never felt unsafe at all. Free parking behind rental through the alley. The host was friendly and very good communication. Will stay again on my next visit to Louisville.

Great pace to stay if you want to be in the middle of a vibrant night life. Tons of restaurants and bars. Only a short uber ride to downtown. The host was great and responded quickly with any questions.

2 friends trip on the Bourbon trail. The Highlands neighborhood is a safe and vibrant area, several options for coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Definitely have dinner at MeeshMeesh when you're in town!

Good location and easy to Bardstown area. Good for people who walk around. Apartment was affordable and nice. It is on the 2nd and 3rd floor, so if you bring a lot of things it can be tough going up and down stairs. Unit was equipped well except theres no dishwasher. We enjoyed the stay and the host was very responsive.

Our host was very responsive to all questions and texts. So many Irish pubs, restaurants, coffee shops the choices were endless. All the food we sampled was excellent. On Friday and Saturday nights it was a little noisy… so if you’re looking for quiet and solitude on the weekend could be a difficult choice. The house was immaculate, check in and out was easy. If you need a handicap access or are old and have trouble climbing stairs this may not be your choice. Overall it was a good experience for us.

We loved the historic building and walkability but don’t consider this property to be super family friendly. We stayed on a Friday night and were unable to get sleep due to the constant flow of motorcycles and cars with bass heavy stereo systems rattling the entire home until 2 to 3 am in the morning. Until around 1 am the noise was constant. Pigeons and morning traffic started early so sleeping in wasn’t an option either. The home itself is clean and has most everything needed to enjoy a stay there. We found an amazing restaurant called Ramsi’s down the street and enjoyed seeing Ali’s Bees at the Cave Hill Cemetery across the street.

Classic Louisville apartment. Beware. The location is great but it’s super noisy with traffic and bars are open until 4. I had to get earplugs. Also parking is tricky if you have more than one vehicle.

Baxter Avenue is where Louisville comes to life. You step outside and there’s a whole block of Irish pubs, restaurants, craft cocktail bars, and coffee shops within a few minutes’ walk — the kind of stretch where you don’t need a plan, you just walk out the door. The Highlands has real character: historic buildings, an independent streak, and a mix of people that feels like the actual city rather than a version of it built for visitors. Cave Hill Cemetery is nearby for a quiet walk, downtown is a short drive, and Bardstown Road picks up where Baxter leaves off. I chose this building because it puts you at the center of that energy while giving you a full two-story apartment to retreat into.

Very few Highlands rentals give you a full two-story apartment with a game room and a private patio. The layout means a group of six actually spreads out — the king bedroom, living space, kitchen, and patio on the main floor, then upstairs a separate retreat with two queen beds and lounge space with games. It’s a genuinely good setup for families with kids, or two couples who want some separation. The building itself is historic, with the character that comes with it: original details, real bones, a place with a story. Add streaming on the TVs with Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN, off-street parking behind the building, and the entire Baxter Avenue food and bar scene a few minutes on foot, and it’s a hard combination to find in this neighborhood.
