This 2024 renovation of a beautiful duplex originally built in 1925 is within walking distance of Churchill Downs, University of Louisville Cardinal Football Stadium, and Jim Patterson Baseball Stadium.

This two bedroom, one bathroom is the floor level of a split level duplex featuring original hardwood floors, pocket doors with crystal handles, and its restored clawfoot tub with shower addition!

One bedroom features a king size bed. The second features two double beds.

Great place to stay

Perfect for our group of 3!

Came to Louisville with a couple friends to do some distillery tours and see the Slugger Museum and this place was PERFECT! Great location not far from Main Street and the house had 3 beds (2 in one room and one in the master). Communication with the host was great and I look forward to coming back!

Nicely remodeled old house charm

This place was absolutely gorgeous on the inside. We want to be close to the Kentucky Derby and it was literally right down the street from us. Our host was amazing and always answered our questions that we had.

Churchill visit

Weekend Getaway

We came to Louisville to visit a friend and see the sights. We were very happy with the house. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and we were very impressed with the proximity to Churchill Downs, the university and historic Louisville.

Great place to stay!

We had a great experience at this property. I stayed here with a family of 5 for the weekend and we had plenty of room. The host was very responsive to all of our messages and responded quickly. Beds were very comfortable. Would recommend!

Beautiful old house

The house is beautifully restored, unsure of the age, but an older urban home. Great claw foot tub. Plenty of space. Felix communicated great, even messaged us to see if there is anything we need. highly recommend

Louisville brick

Lovely front porch and nicely updated inside. Just off fairly busy street so appreciated the off-street parking behind the building. This is an area of mixed business and residential use so a noisy area; the provided ear plugs in the front bedroom were a nice touch. Felix was responsive and friendly.

A great stay for Racing! Or University of Louisville

We came to go to Churchill Downs and a Racine Louisville game and both were awesome! We were easily able to walk to the Kentucky Derby Museum in the morning, then a short drive to the Nulu shopping area for lunch and shopping and then back to the track for evening races, was such a great day. Day 2 included seeing Muhammad Ali’s resting place in Cave Hill, and the Racing Louisville soccer game (and a win to boot!) The location was great, almost on the campus! If you are looking to come to a sporting event, this may be your home base for activitites.

Great Property

Our visit began before we arrived, the host had wonderful communication and we were prepared when we arrived. The property was clean and fresh. It is within a short drive to most every entertainment venue and certainly kept us close to our destination. Our next visit to Louisville will certainly include another stay with this host!

Great Location in Louisville

We stayed the weekend in Louisville while my teenage daughter competed at a tournament at the Expo center. I brought my younger two kids along and we explored the city. This house was very accommodating, cool historical remodel, tons of space, lots of nice towels, a full kitchen, stocked coffee and toiletries. We were so close to the expo center I could get there and back in 10 minutes. It was easy to get downtown and to other areas. Felix was quick to help when I struggled to figure out the door (my error) and he checked in all weekend. We would definitely stay here again. Definitely consider if you are visiting the Derby, you could literally walk to it from here.

Very impressed with this rental!

The rental was the perfect mix of size, location, and style! Would highly recommend this rental if wanting to stay in Louisville and be within walking distance of many attractions and short driving distance of many others. The host, Felix, was very prompt and accurate with all information regarding the unit including check-in, check-out, parking, etc. Went out of his way to recommend attractions for my family and I. Was worth every penny. Again, highly recommended! I will be sure to book with Felix the next time I stay in Louisville

Great communication from host!

Although Vrbo let me automatically book without approval, the property host was not aware of my booking. Felix communicated with me the evening we were supposed to check-in and informed me he could prepare the unit but it would take a little bit since he wasn’t notified earlier. However, we chose to get refunded and stay elsewhere to limit the inconvenience. Felix refunded and communicated well about the situation. Thank you!
