ACCOMODATIONS
Newly renovated in 2025. Very spacious with 2 bedrooms plus an office and 2 full bathrooms (1 bathtub and 1 walk-in shower) and 1 half bathroom. There is also an outdoor shower to wash off after a beach adventure.

The Seabreeze Stay is a newly renovated oceanfront duplex, making it a perfect getaway for every season!
Stepping inside the living room, natural light floods the open concept design. A cozy fireplace sets the perfect ambience for warm conversations. Dive into entertainment with Roku TV and lounging on the curved sofa.

You can whip up your favorite meal in the large kitchen with plenty of counter space. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with a selection of pots, pans, and baking utensils, inviting you to explore your culinary and baking adventures. The main level includes a half bathroom by the entrance and a full-size washer and dryer for your use throughout your stay.

On the second level, you'll find two bedrooms and an office all equipped with Roku TVs. The primary bedroom has a King bed with a twin trundle underneath and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom also has a King bed with a twin trundle underneath and is beautifully designed with coastal wallpaper. You can be productive in the office, which also has a twin pull-out sofa bed. This level also includes a second full bathroom.

Outdoors, enjoy your morning coffee or grill up a tasty lunch or dinner on the BBQ in the front yard.

Live your best life and make sure to grab some beach chairs and umbrellas and head to the beach to take in the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay! You may also catch a glimpse of dolphins! Explore the waters or take a leisurely stroll along the beach.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS

Guests must: (1) read our entire listing and house rules section, (2) sign our rental agreement shortly after booking & ID must be provided, (3) submit refundable security deposit hold*, and (4) full payment prior to check-in.
*Security deposit hold required of $500. Deposit hold to be processed by host on guest's credit card. Deposit hold will be taken out 3 days prior to check-in and returned in full 7 days after check out, absent damages/violations.

Pricing of our home is on a per guest and per pet basis and applies to the entire reservation length (regardless if some guests / pets are only visiting, won't be sleeping over on certain nights, etc.) - we ask all guests to enter the total number of guests / pets that will enter our home when booking, to see accurate pricing and avoid price changes for additional guests / pets added after booking.

Please note: during hurricane season our area is prone to inclement weather. We encourage guests to consider purchasing travel insurance for any unforeseen weather or health events to protect your reservation.

This property is 1/2 of a side-by-side duplex. You may book both sides for your large group of up to 10! Be advised you share one wall with the other side.

Tides and winds can be unpredictable at all times, so please do not leave any chairs and umbrellas unattended. Since we're right on the beach, high winds are a regular occurrence.

Please be sure to familiarize yourself with Norfolk’s Beach Rules for umbrellas, tents, and canopies. We have found they are different than a lot of places we ourselves have traveled.

We have a stocked beach closet with beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys. However, if these items are stolen and/or broken, we cannot guarantee their availability.

🚭 NO SMOKING - We are a completely smoke-free property

🐞 Wildlife/Bugs
Expect to encounter wildlife. We often see dolphins in the water and bald eagles or other falcons flying around. There will be bugs! A cost of being so close to water. Consider packing bug spray, and please keep all doors/windows to the house closed when not in use.

🚙 Parking
The house has 4 parking spaces that are shared between both units. Your reservation will come with 2 parking spaces.

🦮 Pet limitations
We are unable to accommodate animals other than dogs at this time.
• any and all pets must be pre-approved by owner prior to booking • up to 2 dogs allowed • must be housebroken and up-to-date on vaccines • permitted on furniture only if covered • may not be left unattended at any time • must comply with all local leash laws.
We are a dog friendly property and we have a phenomenal cleaning team but they are human so there is a possibility for human error, if there is an issue during your stay let us know and we will try to address it! Since we are dog friendly, those with severe allergies will need to consider our home’s suitability for their unique needs.

Quiet Hours 🤫
10PM-7AM: You MUST keep noise to a minimum from 10pm to 7am. This is a city requirement. Noise can travel easily, and we are in regular communication with neighbors. We request guests be respectful of the neighbors and quiet hours.

Ocean View is home to Norfolk’s more than 7.3 miles of beautiful shoreline along the Chesapeake Bay.

Tucked along Norfolk’s northern edge, this laid-back neighborhood boasts miles of sandy beaches just steps from your door—perfect for morning walks, evening sunsets or watching dolphins swim in the bay!

You'll be close to local restaurants, bars, the fishing pier, with easy access to downtown Norfolk, naval bases, and the airport.

You’ll find live music on warm nights and community festivals / events year-round.

Whether you're paddleboarding at sunrise, grabbing a cold drink at a bayside bar, or just enjoying the view, Ocean View provides a welcoming, beach-town atmosphere with everything you need nearby. The Norfolk visitors page (visitnorfolk.com) is full of activities and recommendations for your time in Ocean View!

The best mode of transportation is a car, however, the bus does stop near the house (Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) Route 3 runs between Downtown Norfolk and Ocean View).
