Directly across the street is Magic Sands Beach (officially Laʻaloa Beach County Park), one of Kona's favorite hangouts known for its unique “magic” — during winter swells, the soft white sand can mysteriously disappear overnight, revealing the lava rock beneath, only to return with calmer seas.
White Sands Village offers a fantastic collection of resort-style amenities, including a pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis courts, and BBQ area, all surrounded by lush tropical grounds.
