Welcome to Good Vibrations — a freshly renovated 4BR/2BA beach retreat in the heart of Hatteras. Just a 5-minute walk to the beach and a 3-minute drive to the Ocracoke ferry, this spacious home sleeps 8 and is perfect for families and friend groups looking for an easy, laid-back Outer Banks getaway. Bring the dog, unpack, and settle into beach life.

Located in the heart of Hatteras with easy beach access just a short 5-minute walk away. Spend your days on wide, uncrowded beaches and your evenings relaxing back at the house.
INDOOR LIVING: 5 Smart TVs, open-living concept, high-speed Wifi, games, puzzles & books
OUTDOOR LIVING: Private screened-in porch, outdoor seating, outdoor dining, beach essentials (4 adult beach chairs, 2 child-sized beach chairs, boogie boards, an assortment of sand toys, 1 long board), and camp-style charcoal grill (charcoal not provided)
KITCHEN: Fully equipped with brand new appliances, toaster, Keurig, traditional drip coffee maker, dishes and flatware, pots & pans, baking sheets, 6-person dining table/4 barstool counter seats
GENERAL: Air conditioning, full size washer/dryer units, high speed WiFi, linens/towels, complimentary toiletries, suitable for children, suitable for elderly
We supply a starter set of essentials that includes:
1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
1 roll of paper towels
Dish soap
Hand soap
Kitchen and bathroom trash bag
1 kitchen hand towel & dishcloth
1 bath, hand and face towel provided for each registered guest
PARKING: Comfortable driveway for 3 vehicles
FLEXIBLE STAYS – No Full-Week Required
Whether you're planning a long weekend, a midweek escape, or an extended beach vacation, we offer flexible booking with no need to commit to a full week. Come when it works for you — and stay as long as you’d like to keep the good vibes going.

Located near the ferry to Ocracoke Island, local seafood spots, and village shops, you're perfectly positioned to experience all the magic of Hatteras Island and the Outer Banks. Whether you’re chasing waves, casting lines, or just craving a slower pace, Good Vibrations is your home base for memory-making by the sea.
NON-SMOKING PROPERTY
There is no smoking or vaping permitted anywhere on premises.
PRIORITY CHECK-IN
We offer Priority Cleaning services for early check in requests. Priority Cleaning is an additional $60 and guarantees the house will be available by 2PM on the day of check-in. Normal check in is 5pm. Requests for Priority Cleaning must be done in writing at least 4 days before check-in.
PET POLICY
We welcome one well-behaved dog under 50 lbs. with an $85 pet fee. Please keep your pup leashed outdoors and off beds and furniture indoors. Additional cleaning fees may apply for excessive pet hair or damage.
While we do our best to keep things spotless, this is a dog-friendly zone. If you have allergies to dogs, this may not be the best fit. Our team does a very thorough job cleaning, but it's possible that some pet hair may be stirred up during cleaning and settle afterward.
BUGS & BEACH LIFE
As a home located on a barrier island, occasional insects are part of coastal life. We maintain regular professional pest control, but keeping doors and windows closed will help minimize visits from our tiny island neighbors.
QUICK NOTE: We do not offer refunds for the occasional creepy crawler. But if you spot several in one place and suspect there’s a bigger issue, snap a photo and let us know—we’ll take care of it.

Hey there! I’m Steve — born and raised in Maryland but lucky enough to have been coming to the Outer Banks for almost 20 years. My wife Amanda and I even got married here, so Hatteras holds a special place in our hearts. These days, we have three little ones in tow and love sharing this slice of the coast with them. I’ve been hosting for six years and still get excited helping guests enjoy all that makes this place so special. If I’m not chasing kids, you’ll find me fishing, surfing, or paddleboarding — anything on the water!
