Michele, while we are not surprised to receive your review, we disagree with your retelling of events. Our maintenance tech came out two separate occasions at the start of your stay. The first was due to your error as you did not know how to use the remote to the master bedroom fan (which was working properly.) The second time was to replace the batteries in the two fire alarms that were beeping. When you called for a third time that day for one other beeping alarm, we no longer had staff available to come out that night to assist. Our tech came and replaced the third fire alarm first thing the next morning. You did not bring any other maintenance items or cleaning issues with the condo to our attention during your many phone calls or during any of the times our maintenance staff was at the condo. Had you mentioned them, we would have been happy to remedy the issues for you. The patio furniture has just been replaced and is new for all future renters. Our staff was extremely responsive to all of your calls, even when you were threatening to our guest service representatives and managers. We hope potential renters will review all of the other positive reviews that we have received for this condo and the other condos we manage.

Janet, we are sorry to hear you were not completely pleased with your stay with us. We do not mask that this condo is managed by Florida Vacay Rentals and apologize for any confusion you may have had when creating your reservation. We work hard to give our guests the best experience possible and to respond to any issue that may arise during their stay with us. We had spoken multiple times on the phone and thought we were all on the same page. When we followed up regarding the ceiling fan we did not hear back from you causing us to believe the issue was resolved. We apologize that we did not reach out again to ensure everything was working correctly. The reservations before and after your stay did not have any trouble using the TV or the fan so we believe there may have been confusion with how many switches are in the master bedroom, which is what we tried to explain in our message to you. Our check-out procedures are set to ensure proper guest cleans can be completed. The check-out check list is sent out when your reservation is created so you have full understanding of what is expected prior to your arrival at the condo. We wash all bath towels and linens but ask that the beach towels be cleaned and dried since they would ruin the white linens if washed together. We also ask that the dishwasher be started so our housekeepers have time to properly clean the kitchen and put away dishes before the next guest arrives. We absolutely do not want our guests to feel they have unnecessary strain upon their departure however, we have a very high standard of cleanliness which takes time and cannot be properly done if these few tasks are not started. We want all of our guests to feel welcome and comfortable in our condos. We are deeply saddened to hear that you did not feel this way during your stay. Hopefully we get the chance to make this up to you if you chose to come back to the Palm Coast. “Beach Wishes” from the Florida Vacay Team.
