Amazing stay!!

Our condo was wonderful!! It was so clean and nice. The welcome basket was amazing with stuff in it we actually liked. So close to everything. We will definitely stay here next time we visit!!

Great Time

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the unit and complex were clean and exactly as described. The pool was amazing and a big hit with our young kids. The splash pad was out of order during our stay which was a disappointment but other than that everything was great and we would definitely visit again.

The condo was beautiful. We did arrive early and just hung out at the arcade until check in. No early check in kinda sucks after a days drive. The beds were comfy. Liked the privacy in the master bedroom/bathroom. And THAT VIEW from the balcony… beautiful. Loved sitting out early in the morning to watch the sun rise. This location is super close to the beach. 6 min walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was clean the bistro sucks service was horrible had to wait 45 mins for a drink but other then that it was nice nice hot tub nice pools good area everything fun to do is close I loved it

Good experience with a few issues

Not a bad location, close to beach and things to do. But very loud. Close to baseball fields and airport made it not so relaxing noise wise. The only major issue we had in room was the sliding balcony door was very hard to open and close. The master bath wouldn’t drain. We called and maintenance fixed that day.

TV in the main room didn’t work, not a huge deal-but still. Bed was comfortable. There were other little issues with the room. Seems like it used to be nice, but it’s just an older property that hasn’t been kept up. It’s ok if you’re never gonna be in the room much or just using it to sleep one off. Week vacation

All was good except these major issues. 1. All beds were ungodly uncomfortable. Easily the worst we've slept in. Not a single 1 of us got any sleep all week. 2. Couch was just as bad. In couch form & pulled out to bed. 3. Hot tub & heated pool were almost unusable due to the amount of kids in them. There should be time limits. 4. Not enough carts to take supplies to room. Each rental should have a cart that stays in the room when not in use. As it stands I would not return to this resort, definitely not this unit

Horrible

The floor (carpets ) were disgusting the beds were super hard and uncomfortable and so was the pillows ! The TVs were small and super old the tv in the main room couldn't get it to even come on with remote. They expect you to clean even after paying cleaning fee! Have one trash bad for a whole week! It was NOT worth the money spent and will not return or reccomend!

We apologize for the carpeting, uncomfortable bedding, and televisions. To the best of our knowledge, pictures online reflect units as they are, which includes televisions offered. We would have been more than happy to try and remedy some of these issues, such as getting the television to work; had we been made aware during your stay. Housekeeping provides a certain amount (starters) of such items as trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and dish detergent. Guests must provide any other supplies needed for/during their say. Guests are asked to run the dishwasher, take out trash, etc. before departing. We will forward your message to property managers so that they may review and assess the beds and carpeting. Spring Break

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The bedding in the second bedroom was not cleaned from the previous stay. The sheets and blanket were covered in sand. Since there was no laundry soap provided, and I did not feel that it was my responsibility to go out and purchase any, I just ran them in the washing machine anyway. My daughter just slept uncomfortably on the couch. Thus is not the experience that I wanted or paid for. I would say that the mattress in both rooms need to be replaced as they were very uncomfortable. The location was good and was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The transport service was also a plus. It would gave been nice if there was someone at the front desk when we checked in upon our arrival, but we were able to find someone to help us find our room and provide us with the security codes to gain access to the building. Vrbo failed to provide the site with our check in information and I had to contact them the next morning and it was terribly inconvenient and time consuming. The person at the front desk was less than helpful and seemed put off that I was asking her for help. Some customer service training may be necessary.

Angela, we appreciate you providing us with some feedback regarding your vacation rental experience at the ideally located Palms of Destin Resort & Conference Center. We are happy that you did enjoy your stay overall. We apologize for the cleanliness of the bedding in the second bedroom when you arrived. We will forward your message to property managers so that they may review and assess this situation along with the uncomfortable mattresses. Housekeeping provides only a certain amount of such items as trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and dish detergent. Guests must provide more or different items for their stay. Real Joy emails renters gate codes, door codes, parking information, etc. on the day of arrival. We do not have someone on-site at properties but someone is on-call. Thank you for choosing Real Joy.

great place to stay

Love this place and planning our next visit. Overall great experience. Front desk agents were a little rude when checking in. Everyone else very polite. Room had what appeared to be a blood stain on the floor. I called property mgr and someone was sent immediately to clean. Carpet needs a serious cleaning or replaced and cleaning is certainly lacking. Don't look under the couch,,,,
