Unit was dirty and filled with the owner's personal items. Primary bedroom closet was filled with so many personal items, there was no space for hanging our clothes. The games in the closet were covered with dust, the hangers had a layer of grime. Why Christmas wrapping paper??The unit is advertised to sleep 8 - yet it had only 1 hand towel (we did find a 2nd hand towel in the bottom of the washer near the end of our stay). There was 1 kitchen towel (2 if you count the Christmas towel stuffed under the cheese grater. Even though there was a nice view of trees and nature out the windows, 5 of them were covered with black plastic.When we could not find the tv remote, the owner who told us check nightstand drawer and under the bed. We had already checked those places and found candy wrappers, garbage, and owner's personal items covered with dust. No remote - then the owner said the cleaning crew doesn't know where to put the remotes.It was hard to unpack our belongings as the bathroom drawers were filled with personal items of the owners, such as used razors and toiletries. The closets were stuffed with junk. There were no facial tissues boxes in the unit. The liquid soap in the primary bathroom had been refilled with water.Dishes were dirty when we pulled them out of the cupboard, one knife had grease and even a hair on it. Kitchen had lots of leftover food, probably, the worst was a bag of marshmallows that expired 2 years ago.
