Cozy sun drenched beach cottage private beach, walk to town, hot tub

Well-furnished summer fun beach cottage with all the amenities in Hither Hills area. Walk 5 minutes to our private beach, or 15 min to town and bike to almost everything else. Gurneys is walkable also! House is cozy and clean yet bright and airy even on dark winter days:) Leave the windows open and you can hear Owl’s hoot and the waves crashing on the beach. This house is a 3 bedroom, two bath cottage with tons of deck space and patio area that includes a hot tub and annual gardens. The maximum number of guests is 6. There is one king bed and two queens. This is not a party house or share house. We are not an LLC. This home is my primary residence and I have raised my family here. I ask that my guest respect my lovely neighbors and their love of quiet.

A couple things could use a refresh / update but the location and host more than made up for it! We had a little issue on arrival but so thankful for how responsive and helpful Julia was in resolving it! We loved walking to the beach each morning and sitting out on the deck. Great location, not too small, not too big. Easy access to private parking for what are essentially private beaches. Host was wonderful. We and our four dogs had a great time.

Lovely well maintained house, located in peaceful neighbourhood, close to (walkable) private beach and just 5 minutes drive into Montauk. 3 good sized bedrooms (though we only had need for 2) and 2 bathrooms, all as described on the website. Lots of cosy areas around the house to be able to sit outside including a perfectly heated hot tub, and enjoy the surroundings and good weather. Off street parking for at least 2 cars.Check-in and check-out straight forward thanks to good communication from our host. Thank you for providing the opportunity for a wonderful stay.

Perfect mtk house

We had a great stay at Julia’s house. The place was very clean, functional and better than the photos. Location was just minutes from anywhere we needed to go. Julia was very quick to respond to all of our questions. We will definitely stay there again.

Relaxing Break from Reality

The house is perfect for a girls weekend. We loved the outdoor (covered) deck and the roof deck. The host was kind and generous with her space and check in/check out was seamless. We would love to come back another time!

Great location and love the private beach

We stayed for 6 nights in early August. The home is very comfortable and Julia was a great host, checking in on us often during the stay. We loved that the house comes with a parking pass to a private beach just down the road. You can drive all your beach gear down and keep it there the entire day. The house itself was clean and cozy and with a lot of outdoor amenities like a hot tub, outdoor shower and spacious front and back decks.

Beautiful fall get away

A group of 6 friends and a new born baby came here for a fall weekend and had a beautiful time. Such a quiet relaxing neighborhood. Very close to the beach. Comfy beds. Gorgeous deck and hot tub. Smart TV. Large driveway. Absolutely beautiful!

This home was clean and comfortable and a pleasure to spend a few days in beautiful Montauk. Just an 8 minute walk to the neighborhood’s private beach, the home is conveniently located to explore everything from the Lighthouse to the other beautiful towns of the Hamptons. We took advantage of the hot tub and enjoyed having an outdoor shower. The linens and bedding were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels available. The kitchen was full of everything needed for meal prep. We loved sitting on the large deck in the morning enjoying the sunrise and listening to the ocean waves. The home does not have a washer/dryer, which for us was not a big deal since our stay was only four nights, but would appreciate that convenience if we had had a longer stay. Julia was a great host and easy to communicate with.

I have been renting my home in Montauk since 1989. I have had may kind guests over the years and I enjoy hosting them. I am glad that many of my tenants have gone on to buy their own homes in Montauk.

My husband is a local police officer. We love the neighborhood because it is relatively quiet and walking distance to the beach. When he is off from work, we never leave the neighborhood!
