Escape to nature and reconnect at Panther Creek Cabin—a peaceful, private retreat for two nestled along Big Reed Island Creek in Southwest Virginia.

This romantic cabin offers the best of both worlds: complete seclusion and modern comfort. Enjoy a warm soak in the hot tub, toast marshmallows by the fire pit, or take a short hike to the hidden waterfall known as “Hole in the Wall.”

Inside, you’ll find a cozy loft bedroom with a queen bed, a fully equipped kitchen (minus a full-size oven), a smart TV with your favorite streaming apps, and Starlink high-speed internet for remote work or Wi-Fi calling.

We loved the cabin. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Very relaxing from a busy year we have had. Views from the back porch watching the river was very pretty. Hot tub was just right. Would recommend to my friends and would revisit it again.

A beautiful tranquil stay. We loved the location along the creek and between 2 mountains. Having 2 osprey living in the trees across the creek is awesome. I enjoyed watching them fly and fish each morning while enjoying my coffee and then again in the evening before dark. This place was very convenient for us to get to my family reunion in Snowville. Cozy cabin

The inside had everything we needed. There is no signal so you must have everything information wise saved on your phone before you get there. We enjoyed the hot tub and grill. Unfortunately we did not see or catch any fish, which was one of the main reasons for the booking. This is a very pretty area.

Magical!

From the first time we set foot on this property, we knew it was special and Debbie and Will have been so good to me. It’s clean, secluded, beautiful, peaceful, romantic and we made it a biannual thing to visit as it became our place. You won’t regret experiencing the special nature of this space. 20 year anniversary getaway!

Absolutely loved everything about this place! It wasn’t advertised but the house used to be a schoolhouse back in early 1900’s which gave it such an old time feeling. The house had everything you need to be secluded and enjoy the peace and quiet. Beautiful scenery just sitting on the deck. Only disappointment was the waterfall was dried up due to no rain but that is just Mother Nature. Would highly recommend staying here especially if you want to disconnect from the outside work and enjoy quality time with the people you are with!
