As a host, I take great pride in maintaining a 10-star stay for my guests, so I was a little surprised by the rating, given I hadn't heard of any concerns during your visit. I made it a point to stay in contact with you during your stay and was always available by phone/text — please know that door is always open. Thank you for staying with me and for taking the time to leave a review. I’m glad to hear you found the condo to be good overall, and I appreciate the 4-star rating. I did want to clarify a few items for future guests, as there appear to have been some misunderstandings regarding my checkout procedures. My checkout instructions are provided in advance and are also outlined in the rental agreement, so guests know what to expect before their stay. I do ask guests to start a load of bed linens prior to departure and to make sure dishes have been washed and put away. These procedures have been in place throughout the eight years I have personally managed the condo and help our housekeeping team prepare the property thoroughly for the next arriving guests. Guests are absolutely welcome to shower, and use towels the morning of departure. Towels used that morning do NOT have to be washed, dried, and put away before leaving. They can simply be placed in the washing machine along with the used bed linens, the washer started, and guests may then depart. I’m sorry if that portion of the instructions was misunderstood, as I certainly would not expect a guest with an early flight to go without a morning shower. I’d also like to clarify the concern regarding the doorbell camera. The camera is located at the exterior entrance to the condo. It is not used to monitor guests coming and going during a normal stay and is disabled. It is primarily used when the condo is vacant and, if necessary, for security purposes involving unusual or suspicious activity. Similar exterior doorbell cameras are also used by a number of other owners in the building. I completely understand that travelers with very early flights have additional time pressures on checkout morning, and I appreciate the feedback. I take a great deal of pride in personally managing and maintaining the condo and in providing a clean, comfortable and well-cared-for property for every guest. I hope these clarifications are helpful to future guests when considering a stay with me!
