Our stay went very smoothly, condo room were very nice and clean. Communication with host was prompt. Walk to the beach very short. We did spend a lot of time at elevators, unable to take stairs much due to small children and a lot to carry. Avoid elevators during busy times.

The condo was really nice. Great view. Having beach chairs & umbrella included was awesome. The beach staff were very helpful & friendly. Communication from the owner was exceptional. Definitely highly recommended!

It did not look like the condo had ever had a good cleaning. It was just nasty. The balcony furniture was coming apart. This was the second time we had stayed at Tidewater. The first time was not a good experience either. We will not be back for a third time.

Nice, enjoyable, relaxing.

I had an overall wonderful stay, and the host and rooms were great. One mark down for the facilities elevators, gym, and construction. Surely issues that will be working better in the near future.

Missed the mark!

Tidewater in general leaves a lot to be desired, if you are going to try to relax. The facilities are just ok clean, you spend lots of time trying to get from point A to point B, and it can take up to an hour to get an elevator. We stayed on the eighth floor and took the stairs the majority of the time, because of the elevator debacle. So you need to be in good shape if you choose Tidewater.

Best place to stay

This was a very safe and clean place to stay. The owner is very accommodating and kind. The amenities were better than expected!! Great place to stay.

Worst Condo I have every stayed at

When we arrived, the door to the dryer was broke and after several text messages, we were told to use a butter knife to open it for the remainder of our stay. She did attempt to order a new handle but that failed. The front door never required a code/badge to enter. The door was always unlocked. The condo was dirty. There was a coat from previous occupant hanging on coat rack and another item of clothing balled up between wall and dresser. Under the bunk bed, was dirt, pencil, gum, wrappers, battery etc and one of the support boards was broke. The bottom side of mattress was riped so we were unable to utilize the beds. Because of this, we were forced to sleep 5 people in two beds. We made it work but was not worth the money we spent. The dust was terrible, stained bar chairs. In the master bathroom they had leaky faucet that had a container collecting the water. The towels stored there were damp.It was not worth the money at all. We came with 3 other families, and their condo's were beautiful. Clean and spacious. They could not believe the condition of our condo. The staff at Tidewater Resort was friendly and kind but I cannot say the same for our host.

Perfect Spring Break

This place was perfect for our stay! The bunk area bathroom is way bigger than the pictures portray and almost a third bedroom really. The beach wasn’t nearly as crowded as we expected and beautiful. Loved all the amenities and Sherry’s responsiveness with questions we had. Will definitely be back!

Spring Break 2025

The condonwas fine. Our issue was with the elevators. The wait endured each time we needed an elevator was ridiculous. All the other guests we had to wait with had the same complaints. I mentioned my frustration to a security guard at the desk amd his comment was "Don’t expect it to get any better!".

Girls' Getaway

The overall stay was great. The onsite staff was amazingly helpful! This is one of my favorite beach destinations, and this trip did not disappoint. The unit was nice but could use a little updating. The shower in the second bathroom is a little small due to its shape and could be wonderful with a little remodel to utilize the wasted space in the opposite corner. Also the cleaning crew needs to do a better job. I actually cleaned feces from the front of the toilet in the 2nd bathroom and you can see an accumulation of dust on fixtures and wall art.

Beautiful

I was not able to go to my planned vacation due to my work in disaster releif, but my friends were able to go. They loved this unit! Beautifully decorated, the owner was so responsive and pleasant to work with when I explained I had been activated due to hurricane Helene. The unit was clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location.

Have always loved the Gulf coast beaches in comparison to Daytona, which was closer to where I grew up. Panama City Beach keeps changing and is so nice to see the new construction with better quality, covered parking decks and all the amenities Tidewater had could not be beat. Less than half mile to Pier Park is awesome for shopping/entertainment and Frank Brown Park is just across street from Pier Park. With the airport here you practically dead-end to this resort is just an added bonus.

The amenities cannot be beat period. With fast moving elevators, on-site movie theatre, a 4300 sf fitness center facing the ocean with his/her sauna steam room, hot tubs, on-site restaurant/store, 24-hour security, 2 outdoor pools with hot tubs and 1 indoor heated pool it is so nice to have such a great place to stay. We also have movie theater and game arcade to enjoy and onsite restaurant Waves for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favorite feature of the condo is the large balcony facing the ocean and having my coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings. It is so relaxing! In addition, with 3 bathrooms it makes it so much easier for everyone to get ready and not be waiting around. Every effort is made to accommodate and make your stay comfortable. Dolly Parton Pirate Show open May 29, 2025 and Top Golf opening by end of June, 2025. Half mile from Pier Park bump and Frank Brown Park across the street from Pier Park.
