The amenities are great, but you have to check everything out and buy wrist bands 10 a person to use. It should be included.

We had lots of fun and the place was super close to the beach. Wasn’t the cleanest but for the price was it worth it. We enjoyed the grill and swimming pool. Thanks for having us!

Rules were confusing

The family and I had a great time except every night my family and I kept getting told to go inside @ 11:30 at night we’re told that we needed to be inside our rooms and all were doing was talking outside trying to enjoy the view it was not good wspeciaywe came all the way down from 8 hours away and being military as well

Kam, thank you for choosing our condo for your stay, it was a pleasure to host you and your family. I am sorry to hear that you had some issues, we are not aware of a time limit to be out on your balcony, the pool and BBQ areas do close at 10pm. Other than that area there should not be any issues with being out around the properly. Aside from the issue, I hope you and your family were able to enjoy our beautiful island and the great condo. We hope to see you all again.

Not livable

Caution tape outside front door, property was mostly abandoned, unit was filthy and the smoke detector was beeping. Property manager relocated us, we didn’t get to a unit until 1:00 am. A full refund and apology would be appropriate

Hans, I am sorry that that the condo did not meet your expectations when you checked in. I do want to clarify and add context to the review. The condo was ready for you to check in at 4 pm, you got into the condo at 1 am because that is the time you arrived on South Padre Island to check in. I understand how annoying a smoke alarm can be, so we gave you a free upgrade to a beautiful 3 bedroom beachfront condo with an amazing view. We were hoping the upgraded accommodations, the fee upgrade, and context about your 1 am check in time would have made it into the review. Thank you for the opportunity to host you and your family.

Location and security on site

Arrived and main office was closed, no security to be found. Then we walk back to our vehicle and I get a citation for no parking permit. Parking permit was suppose to be issued by security that was no where to be found. Then we enter the room and the upstairs tenants or also vacation renters where running from morning to night and extremely loud. Security didn’t help! Then the tv in main room wasn’t working, wifi wasn’t working. Toilet in main restroom wasn’t working. Then we had to pay for wrist bands because it was summer, with all the amenities we missed out on that were suppose to be offer and having to pay additional just wasn’t worth it. There was construction in parking structure and all the way to the beach access. We made the best of our trip, will be asking more questions before we book our next trip to South Padre island.

Enjoyable!

We enjoyed our wknd getaway! It was our daughter's 15th birthday & she loves swimming especially in big pools. Family & few friends loved it! Few steps from the beach ⛱️ was good. Thank you

Great room, horrible HOA management!

Our room was exactly as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. The surprises were, that a building had been burned down and no clean up had been started. It was fenced off blocking our access to the beach. This would of been nice to know as it had been this way for a while. Because of Covid, the management decided to shut down the pool and barbecue areas as we had just fired up the grill. This was not disclosed at check in. Kind of frustrating as all the surrounding condos were enjoying the pool and grills on 4th of July.

While we're glad you enjoyed your room and your stay, we're so sorry you had problems with the buildings. We're sorry you didn't have adequate warning about the building. I'm sure that was very frustrating, especially on a 4th of July holiday. I assure you this is not the norm. We hope you're come out and visit one of our vacation homes again.

Great Family Vacation

My family and I normally go to Padre Island for vacation but this year we decided to come to South Padre. We had a great time and the Condo was great. The location was right on the beach and the pool was great.
