The unit was very clean and the shower was wonderful. It had a good location near the art district. We were there for a wedding but would choose the area for future vacations. The only issue with the unit that was we could hear the people upstairs very clearly; phone calls, coughing etc.

The VRBO was in a convenient location in Winston-Salem, as long as you have a car. When we drove up to the house, it was completely dark, and there was nothing in the directions that said which door was the entrance. With the light of my phone, I did find the door on the side of the house and entered easily with the code. While the unit was tidy, there were dark stains in the panels above the shower. The baseboards in the unit were not clean, and the carpet had stains and is in need of a deep clean. There were two bath towels, but there was only one hand towel and one washcloth for two guests. The unit was well priced and could just use a little TLC. There was not adequate soundproofing from the upstairs residence.

This property was exactly as advertised! I stayed for more than a month and was very comfortable. I learned to cook lots of things in the microwave! I did bring some of my own dishwater so that I did not eat from disposable dishes all month. The host was very responsive and friendly while still respecting my privacy. It was the perfect spot for a single traveler.

Nice location, place needs some work.

We enjoyed the location as we were in town to film a wedding. This place was 10 minutes from our venue.Overall, we were pretty disappointed with the place. It was freezing when we arrived, which was nice at first, but then at night I’m pretty sure they turned the A/C off because it became very hot. The bed was comfortable, but not enough blankets were provided for the times that it was cold.Something is wrong with the door to get in. Code wouldn’t work half the time and then after closing it would try cycling the auto-lock, but it never would lock on its own. It would just sit there making noises over and over again until you manually locked it. There were a lot of bugs, which was the worst part for us. Centipedes were all over the floors and walls. Even had a snake at our doorstep when we arrived back one night.

Third stay at this property. I never have had any issues. I am in town to visit with family, so great place for my late evenings. Always amazed how quiet the place and location are every time.

Great place for a short visit

Quiet culdesac and I felt safe. Though it doesn’t have a full kitchen, it does have a small fridge and microwave.

Great stay. Very close to everywhere in town. Huge shower and a nice amount of space. So glad to have fridge, microwave and other kitchen/dining amenities. Would stay again!

Quiet & Cozy

I was a bit nervous because of the affordability but ended up being very pleased. Very quiet neighborhood, centered right where I needed to be. The suite was clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend this spot. Also I would stay again next time I come to visit

Comfortable, but a few additions would be great!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Anna’s place. The bed was comfortable, which is always a big plus.We have a few suggestions. Given there is a microwave and kitchen, it would be helpful tohave the necessary utensils for making a meal and eating. Regular cups, plates, bowls and flatware would be a great addition (vs. paper and plastic). It would be helpful to have a dish towel. A cloth bath mat is a necessity for getting out of the shower. We needed more water and did not get a reply. (Anna graciously brought 2 coffee mugs when requested). The neighborhood was convenient. We think the price points is a bit high.

Convenient for a conference stay

This was a perfect place to stay while attending a conference at Wake Forest Medical Center. It was clean and quiet.

This little place was perfect for my husband & I. We were in Winston Salem meeting friends and needed a litle efficiency place for a couple of nights. Clean, comfortable bed, plenty of coffee supplied, good size refrigerator and the host was wonderful to work with. There is no stove or oven, but we weren't looking for one. Would definitely stay again!!

This suite is spacious, around 600 sq ft. It brings you a lot of space and comfort compared with a similar priced hotel room. Also, it is my pride to keep it in pristine condition.
