War een geweldige woning op een toplocatie, dichtbij de stad. De bedden waren fijn en de woning was erg goed bevoorraad met alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben. Het contact met de eigenaar was ook zeer prettig.

Great place

The cottage was great! I was in Calgary for a convention and the location just two blocks from the train made getting around very easy. The neighborhood was extra quiet and pleasant. The cottage was comfortable- especially the bed. It was very well equipped even though I never used anything but the Keurig machine. If I ever find myself back in Calgary I definitely would rebook.

Sunnyside Bliss

My husband and I stayed in the Sunnyside home for two months (January and February 2025) while our home was being renovated.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sunnyside home. The home was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The kitchen had plenty of appliances, tools, and dishes. Comfortable bed. Nicely heated floor in the bathroom.The hosts have a beautiful light display which changes depending on the season. And if you are staying in the brisk winter months you might get to see an ice sculpture that the host has created.There is a nice deck out front with a gas fire pit. A fake grass area for children or dogs to play. The front area is enclosed by a beautiful fence.Location, location, location! Only two – four blocks to a major grocery store and numerous restaurants. Close to the walking pathway along the river. Prince’s Island Park is accessible by a 13-minute walk, while downtown can be reached within 20 to 30 minutes on foot. If you prefer not to walk, the LRT station is just two blocks away and can take you downtown or to other parts of the city quickly.We stayed during the coldest months in Calgary and still loved our time in Sunnyside. Staying during the warmer months would only enhance the experience.The hosts were great to deal with.I would highly recommend this home.

Lovely home

Excellent location and great home. It was a perfect place for our family to stay while visiting our daughter who attends UofC. Would stay there again!!

Exceptional stay & fabulous location

This unit is amazing! Charming, cozy, clean and the owner has thought of everything to make it comfortable & feel like home! Friendly Sunnyside neighbourhood walking distance to Kensington restaurants & the Peace Bridge. Will stay again & recommend to friends & family!

Perfect Sunnyside Cottage

This cottage was absolutely perfect. So well appointed inside and the front porch and garden were wonderful to sit, relax and meet all the neighbourhood dogs. The location was ideal as so much was in walking distance and the neighbourhood is lovely. Great hists aswell.

Thanks again

This was our second long-term summer stay. We had great walks and bike rides from here and walked to Safeway and lots of restaurants. The cottage is well-supplied with everything we needed. Thanks again Cathy and Tim. See you next year.

Stay at Urban cottage

I had a very nice stay. Felt very comfortable and homey. Sunny Side is a very nice area and an easy walk to a variety of restaurants and dog walking. If the weather hadn’t been so coldI think I would have done much more walking in to the city core just across the river.

Beautiful Calgary

This property was a direct reflection of the surrounding beauty of Calgary with its many parks and biking trails. The home was clean, well stocked with ever appliance and utensils for preparing your own food. The neighborhood is quiet and in a perfect location to access downtown, local shops and the trail system. The hosts were available when needed. We wish we had planned on staying longer. We hope to return to this home someday and will recommend to our friends.

Post hip replacement stay

Our trip to Calgary, from BC, was for my hip replacement surgery. We chose to stay at the Urban Cottage Oasis because we wanted a comfortable, home-away-from-home feeling instead of being in a hotel. It is all on one level, has high beds and high bar stools in the kitchen, all of which I needed post-surgery. There were grocery stores at a convenient distance, and my husband enjoyed some good walks straight from the Cottage. This rental home did not disappoint: the beds were comfortable, the couches too, the kitchen well-appointed for our needs and it served us well. We’re grateful to the owner for her flexibility and allowing me to use crutches and a walker in her home.

Loved this cottage next to a beautiful city!

This location was perfect. The town was adorable. The cottage was just right for us and we even enjoyed the front porch heater with our coffee. The owner was in the unit right below us and was very helpful. Everything is so close and convenient. I wish I had more time to enjoy all of the restaurants and sites.

Awesome house in amazing location

Myself, my husband and my two daughters (4 and 2) stayed for three nights. The property was exactly as pictured with all the amenities needed. The location is amazing with restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and close to downtown with short drives to all the locations we visited. Home was clean and owners were very responsive. Will definitely be staying here when we come back to Calgary!!

Cant beat the location

First time staying at this cottage but will probably be back. The location was absolutely perfect close to downtown and the river. Beds were super comfortable and the cottage has more than the basic neccesseties available. Easy checkin and checkout. Thanks so much for a awesome weekend!ps. Check out the loop out trail just at the end of the street at night it looks over the whole city!!

Great Little Cottage

This was a wonderful home for our six-week summer visit to Calgary. Thanks to Tim and Cathy for a great stay. The home is very well-equipped, and we loved the front porch. The cottage is an easy walk to everything -- restaurants, bars, Safeway, Prince's Island Park and downtown. We'll be back!

We waited 20 years to purchase this home and turn it into the charming rental cottage we knew it could be. The transformation of this home has been very rewarding and we look forward to sharing this lovely home and our neighborhood with people from all over the world. We love to travel as well and have tried to make this a place what we would love to rent when visiting another city. We hope you love it as much as we do.

This property is on the same block as our home and needed some loving. We have lived here for 25 years and think this is the best neighborhood in Calgary. This property has been fully upgraded and without losing its old charm .
