Even after having to switch from our other rental, the team helped us transition and I will definitely try to rent this property again. It is beautiful and provides all the little necessities for a home away from home.

Weekend getaway

The house was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and absolutely no issues. Location was perfect. Renting a golf cart and was a short distance to beach.

Relax

My stay was perfect for what I needed, and that was a solo weekend to relax. I felt safe and cozy in this cabin. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. 10/10 stars! I will book again for the family to come with next time.

Beautiful pet-friendly property perfect for a relaxing vacation. The beach was just a short walk away and wasn't super crowded. The beach was perfect for kite flying, sand castle building, swimming, and tanning. We loved being able to drive our truck on the beach and setup right on the sand. We also ended up going to the beach at night which was a totally different experience.The outdoor shower made it easy to clean up after the beach before heading back into the house. The outdoor hammock is perfect for relaxing in the evening after sunset. We did not utilize the outdoor grill, but wish we had. The upstairs patio is spacious with lots of seating and good birdwatching. There's also a large dining area on the patio perfect for a sunset dinner.The kitchen was very clean and large. There is plenty of seating in the living room and dining area. Since the living room, kitchen, and dining room are open concept, you can still socialize with people in the living room or watch television while cooking. There are SO MANY fun board games and card games in the dining room. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The master bathroom has a relaxing deep bath tub.The hosts were very communicative and responsive. They prepared us well for our visit and were very understanding of our pet situation. It can be challenging to find pet friendly properties that are also still excellent quality for the price and this is by far the best we have found in the area. We will definitely be back!

Glad The Cozy Current was the perfect pet-friendly spot for a relaxing getaway and that the beach was just what you hoped for—great for kite flying, sand castles, swimming, tanning, and even driving right onto the sand. Happy the outdoor shower and hammock made coming back in easy and relaxing, and that the spacious upstairs patio and dining area provided great birdwatching and sunset dinners. We’re glad the clean, roomy kitchen, open living/dining area, plentiful seating, and all the board and card games added to your fun, and that the bedrooms and deep soaking tub were comfortable. Weekend Wedding

This property was fantastic! Exactly as pictured. Very very clean! Master bed was comfy, soft and firm at the same time, and did NOT sag! This is one of the BEST VRBOs we have rented. Totally recommend this home.

Perfect stay for our family of four

This property was clean and just as described. The walk to the beach was short and simple, and the chairs and beach accessories provided were great. My only wish is that they had regular cable not cable that runs off WiFi bc it was spotty, the only reason I say this is bc it rained a lot while we were there. Other than that, no complaints at all. Store and restaurants were fairly close as well. We loved this property and will be back.

The biggest thing was no instructions on tvs and most remotes didn’t have batteries. And the local contact told us where barbecue pits were.

Great Location

Loved everything about the house. Only problem was the combination they sent for door lock was not right. Called property Mgr and they quickly responded with code for a lock box that had a key. Except for that, it was a great experience.

Great house, disappointing city

House is amazing! Clean, full of natural light, comfortable beds, great appliances. The house is perfect, although it is a little farther from the beach than advertised (It is 7 minutes from beach, not 3 minutes). Check-in was stressful because the code we received was wrong. We had to text/call customer service and they were not quickly responsive. After traveling 6 hours by car you don’t want to have trouble entering the house. But eventually it works out. The city is very disappointing. Beach is dirty and trucks run often in the beach displaying Confederate flags and offenses to the President. There was a parade of golf carts on Saturday morning displaying the same offensive flags - noisy and unnecessary. Also, there is not enough restaurants in the city - options to eat are very few. I did not feel safe at the city due to this racist vibe. Although the home is amazing, I will never come back or recommend Crystal Beach to anyone.

Disappointed in cleanliness.

Ceiling fans need to be cleaned and shower liners need to be replaced. Carpet was dirty. Was a little disappointed since the reviews were good and a cleaning fee is paid.

Anniversary getaway

What a great time we had staying at Afternoon DLite! Very close to the beach & so convenient to be able to drive your vehicle right to the spot you want to hang out at & bring all you beach gear with you w/o having to haul it from your vehicle to beach spot! The house was clean, the bed was comfy, kitchen well equipped ( needs a toaster) & the accommodations were updated . We would definitely return to this home!

Just what we needed

This house was absolutely amazing. The rental company was extremely helpful and attentive. The location was PERFECT with beach access right down the road. The house has absolutely everything you could need or ask for, including a DVD player and a extensive movie collection which is so nice because sometimes it’s nice to curl up and watch a movie in the evenings after a relaxing stroll on the beach. SO many homeowners miss this mark on having some Type of entertainment available at the home for nights or rainy days. The master has a king size bed that is VERY comfortable which is a HUGE HUUGE perk to me. So many home owners scrimp in that area and put a tiny broke down bed in their houses. I’m sorry but nothing will ruin a vacation faster than getting an uncomfortable unrest full nights sleep. This bed made me realize just how much I am in need of replacing my own personal mattress at home, that should tell you something. Also, the house has plenty of extra covers, pillows AND additional fans. All of these things show exactly how wonderful and attentive the homeowner is. I assure you all the extras were noticed and very much appreciated. Thank you so very much for a fantastic experience..We will absolutely be looking into staying here again.

The property manager was prompt with responses. He/she was always available whenever I had a question or a request. My family and I are very happy with our stay. I would definitely go back.
