Our stay in this property exceeded expectations. The property was just as pictured and described. The house is spacious. The two floors allow people to spread out and have their space. A couple of the beds were quite firm, the other two were softer, so we could choose what we preferred to sleep on. The pillows and bedding were comfortable, and appropriate for Minnesota weather in January. We ended up cooking the majority of our meals at the house, and found the house well-equipped for that. Lake Phalen is an easy walk; it was a gift to get out in nature in the middle of winter. The neighborhood is very quiet. I was surprised at how beautiful the historic homes in this area are. Ben responded quickly to the couple of questions we had, and was extremely easy to work with. My whole family agree that this property was a 'find' and we would absolutely return. Thank you for an excellent stay!

We absolutely loved our stay and would stay here again. The posting looks new, but this is an experienced host who knows how to make you feel welcome and taken care of. He was very responsive and friendly. We had a number of special needs and he was able to accommodated them all. The house is lovely and is exactly as presented. Some of the rooms are bigger than the pictures suggest. The kitchens (there are 2) were well equipped, which was important for us because we like to cook. The beds were comfortable. Everything was spotless and in great working order. We felt at home in the space. It was easy to relax and enjoy spend time together. An excellent place to stay!

The property was very clean, had 2 well appointed kitchens, and comfortable. Exactly as described/visualized on the listing. Only thing to consider is if you have children or light sleepers, noise from other rooms can be easily heard throughout the house. We would definitely return to this property!

Extended weekend in the Twin Cities

Very nice spacious home. Room for all 6 of us to spread out and not feel cramped. All new appliances and good communication with owner who had extremely quick response time. We were within a 15 minute drive wherever we needed to be in St Paul. Would stay here again.
