Welcome to Destination Leisure – Your Up North Basecamp!
Cottage B sits right next to Mitchell State Park Campground in beautiful Cadillac, Michigan. This comfortable two-bedroom retreat features WiFi, air conditioning, heating, and in-unit laundry—everything you need for a hassle-free stay.

Inside, you’ll find a bright, inviting layout that makes it easy to relax after a day outdoors. The open living area and well-equipped kitchen provide a comfortable setting for both quiet mornings and cozy evenings in.

In the warmer months, enjoy biking, hiking, golfing, or days on the lake, all just minutes away. When winter arrives, the cottage becomes an ideal base for downhill skiing and snowboarding at Caberfae Peaks or Crystal Mountain, with snowmobile trails also nearby.

Whether you’re here to explore or unwind, Cottage B offers a peaceful Up North getaway close to nature.

Great place. The kids and I went ice fishing on Lake Mitchell and skiing at Caberfae. My son loved having the Keurig and the warm floors made it very comfortable. Also a fan of a simple checkout procedure. I’ve stayed at some with quite the list of tasks. Thanks!

4th of July Weekend

Our group rented both cabin A and cabin B for the weekend. We rented these as a bridesmaid/groomsman room for our wedding over the weekend. The host was very welcoming and had helpful details printed out and available inside the cabin. The location is amazing, right next to the state park, local restaurants, and across from the beach. We were able to enjoy the pasty shop next door which was a great addition to our stay.

Pictures don’t do this justice, very nice cottage, very clean and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and we even extended our stay another night longer than planned! Easy access to local restaurants and even the infamous cone lickers ice cream shop, a must stop when you stay. would definitely stay again!Eric
