Mexico Beach, Florida is just 20 minutes east of Panama City. Located on a pristine stretch of beach in Bay County, Florida, it is the perfect choice for travelers who are seeking a genuinely quiet, white-sand beach vacation destination. While not as heavily developed as some other popular Florida beach towns, it offers a variety of restaurants and local eateries, where visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and other regional specialties.

The main draw of Mexico Beach is its natural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities. The warm Gulf waters are great for snorkeling, diving, fishing, and boating. The town has a public boat ramp and marina, and nature lovers will appreciate the nearby natural attractions, such as St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, which offers miles of unspoiled beaches, hiking trails, and wildlife viewing opportunities. NOTE: This home is in the Eastern Time Zone.


INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the beach.


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (provided they are submitted at least 30 days prior to check-in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

Our stay was great! The house was perfect and conveniently close to the beach. Communication was excellent, and they even allowed us to check in early, which was a huge plus.The mattresses on the beds were very comfortable. The only downsides were that the bunk beds were very squeaky, and the small bathroom had a sewage smell whenever the toilet was flushed or the shower was used.One suggestion would be to provide a beach cart to help guests carry their belongings to the beach. It would also be a nice addition to include beach equipment such as chairs, towels, and beach toys. Those extra amenities would definitely make this property even more appealing and earn an even higher rating.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property.
