The views were amazing! The wild life was spectacular. Eagles, seal fed in the Sooke basin right under the deck one late afternoon. We took the Whale watching tour in Sooke. We were able to see Humpback and Orcas feeding in San Juan De Fuca Straight. We’ll be back!

Gorgeous views. Just sitting on the deck was a real treat! We had fun watching numerous hummingbirds and a nearby eagle pair. A wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful and relaxing stay at this outstanding property. Hosts were excellent and every need is anticipated and met. Sunsets are amazing from the deck or hot tub. We will be back whenever we need to unwind.

Beautiful veiw

Very clean accommodations. House was perfect for our four night stay in July. I think this part of town was a great place for our first time to Vancouver Island. So many cool places to check out around Sooke. We enjoyed it very much. Thanks for having us.

Very great place

Had a wonderful stay with family from Switzerland. The property is stunning, pictures don’t do it justice. Weather was great, so we were able to take advantage of all the outdoor activities. Overall a really good stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and clearly put a lot of care and thought into every detail. There were so many great touches for kids, from games to outdoor activities, making it a truly family-friendly stay. You can tell this place was designed with love, and it really shows. Lovely property with amazing views

Cozy yet spacious property with breathtaking views of Sooke basin from most rooms and many different outdoor areas. Kitchen was well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. Great location for accessing the area attractions (coastal hikes, sooke potholes, ziplining) as well as Victoria. Kayaks are best accessed at high tide otherwise it could be tricky getting into them. Lots of steps down to water so if one has mobility/stamina issues, they may find the the lower levels of the property including the water difficult to access. Very clean and well appointed, still maintaining a unique feel.

Our work brings us all over Canada. (we splice fiber for the telecom industry ) My wife and I have seen some truly amazing places But they do not seem to compare to the AW inspiring views and feeling we get from the East Sooke house property. We hope you can experience it first hand.

Great views in quiet surroundings
We stayed there for twelve days and really enjoyed the house and the garden with all the variety of birds stopping by, the rabbit family living there and a deer from time to time outside the fenced area.
The view over the bay is stunning each time of the day and we didn't get tired of it.
We cooked every day, kitchen is well equipped and in good condition.
Our son is 6 and the shorter trails had been ideal.
Some nice beaches close by.
