Such a calming place

This was our 2nd time staying here. It is well appointed and clean and such a lovely location on the pond. Access to the beach is easy and having the pool house available makes bathroom use while in the beach very convenient. My family if 4 loved the biking trails, walks on the beach and just spending time together. Communication with the owners was timely and helpful when any questions arose.

Great location

The house is located on the water which made sitting on the screened porch perfect. The island is beautiful and felt safe. The house is a short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our visit. We hope to visit again.

Beautiful renovation, excellent location!

As long time Hilton Head goers, this was our first time staying on Kiawah and we were blown away by its natural beauty! Perfect location-close to the beach, pool, bike paths and Freshfield Village. The interior was very clean and beautifully done, and just right for our family. We would definitely rent here again!

We have stayed in several cottages at Kiawah over the years and this one was our favorite. The location is great - it's a quick walk to the beach and we loved spending time on the porch overlooking the pond. The house itself is clean and beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches throughout. The furnishings are comfortable and we felt right at home. Highly recommend - we would love to come back and stay here again!

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!!

This property was absolutely spectacular! I came for a the weekend and exceeded all my expectations. The best part is the location it's so close to the beach, the cougar point golf course, and the main entrance making it so easy! The details are beyond well-thought-out books, board games, toasters, air fryer, beach chairs, grills, and the list only goes on! SUCH A GREAT SPOT!

We had a fabulous stay on Kiawah in this darling cottage! It was perfectly clean and well stocked with needed basics. Centrally located, a quick walk to the beach, and easy access to the bike trails. This cozy cottage was the perfect spot for our girls getaway! Thank you for having us!

Great Home in Great Location

There isn't anything negative I can say about our stay, except that it wasn't long enough. Everything was top rate. Porch overlooking the water was great, firepit made it extra special. Kitchen was well supplied. Hope we'll be able to rent this home again in the future.

Great location. Quiet. This property needs better cleaning. Floors were very dirty and the condo was generally dusty. Kitchen was clean and organized but floors were really bad.

Picture perfect.

Everything about this cottage was perfect. Every bedroom has a private bath. The kitchen is open with loads of counter space. There’s plenty of comfortable seating. And it real close to the pool and beach. Plus after the beach there is an outdoor shower and a large area for bikes and beach chairs and an area to rinse them off. All around, very thoughtfully designed. Final plus is an open private grill and picnic table with view to the pond and vegetation. Very quiet and private.

Wonderful Location for Nature, Golf & Beach Lovers

The villa is in a nice quiet location on a beautiful pond teaming with wildlife. Beach access is an easy 5 minute walk. House is well-equipped kitchen-wise and offers beach chairs and accessories which is very nice. Comfortable and casual albeit a little smaller than widescreen photos depict. Exterior decks and doors could use a little maintenance but I’m sure that is hard to keep up with during busy summer months. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Wonder Break

My family of four enjoyed this beautiful and comfortable cottage. It was well appointed and we enjoyed preparing several dinners at the home to enjoy the screened in porch. The wildlife in the pond was an adventure to watch everyday (alligators, frogs, water fowl, fish). The location is great with either a short walk or even shorter bike to the beach. We enjoyed renting bikes (one with a trailer) that allowed us easy access to the many bike paths and hauling stuff to the beach for the day. We will definitely try to return in the future. Excellent experience!

Perfect House

The house layout is perfect for a 3 bedroom suite house. The center is the living room with open kitchen behind it. Dining areas are plentiful at the main table and screened in porch. Kids can be at the kitchen island. Everything has been renovated. The sparrow cottages are in a great location. They are private and quite, but close to pool and beach. West Village is close to the Night Heron Park and Market Place and the Fresh Fields village center that has everything you might need. The owners were receptive and responsive.

just a few little things

Overall an excellent getaway: comfortable, clean, a bath for each bedroom, screened porch overlooking pond, easy walk to the beach, large table for dining as well as bar seats for the kitchen island. We found the scent (from the laundry detergent?) on the sheets to be a bit overwhelming. Would have been awesome to have a shoe shelf by the front entry + some better knives in the kitchen + a toaster oven. But those lacks were minor compared to everything else!
