Hot tub & fire pit with lake view are the best part of this property. We only used the main house which was super cute with an updated cabin feel. We were there in the fall so the boat dock and deck furniture were already put away for the season. It's more of a cabin, so it felt and smelled very damp during our stay, but that may just be a consequence of the season we are in. Host was very communicative and checked in on us during our stay.

It was beautiful overall!Hopefully we'll stay here longer in the years to come. The only weird and kinda creepy thing, was, while we were out for a few hours, someone put the jacuzzi lid on.?. That made us feel like there was an intrusion. Not sure if it was just covering the jacuzzi or maybe also inside with our things.?. We really did enjoy it, besides that.

Kathy - I’m glad you had a great time. And I’m sorry for the hot tub concern. I suspected (& confirmed) it was the Lawncare company, not wanting any over spray to get into the tub. He said he covered it and didn’t think to remove the cover when he finished. So sorry for that, but glad you enjoyed your stay! We’d love to have you back anytime!

Beautiful setting, enjoyed fishing, lots of nearby activities. Sun porch was perfect! We used the studio also, and was great.We were a group of older adults, age 65The only issue we had was the beds were not comfortable. 3 of the 5 adults slept on the couch or in a chair.

Bed firmness and mattress preferences can be so subjective, but we are truly sorry to hear that a few of you ended up sleeping on the couch and chairs instead of getting a full, restful night's sleep in the bedrooms. Our stay at Stony Lake Hideaway was wonderful. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, the house was clean and exactly as pictured, location was great, and we never ran out of things to do at the house. We would definitely stay again!

This lakefront home has a good layout and also has two sun porches. Three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms are in the house itself. The remaining bedroom and one of the bathrooms make up a fairly new studio apartment in the garage. The house is just steps away from the water and there is a nice seating area around a fire pit where you can sit and take in the views. We saw swans each morning and one evening we watched a family of otters!

the bathroom in main house was kinda derty shower curtain had grime on it could use a new one shower head wasnt allowing water thru i had to buy a new one and put it on so we could shower other than that the house was perfect enjoyed the views

Property just as described online. Host was quick to reply and answer questions. We’ve rented places in the past and things that were stated online (hot tub, waterfront) weren’t accurate when we arrived. This property was perfect. We were able to dock our boat for the stay, and there was plenty of parking for our 4 trucks and boat trailer. Having 10 people I thought we would be cramped, but with the studio apartment, bunkhouse and main house, we had plenty of room. Yard between main house and lake was big enough to have a badmitten court, which many times lake houses don’t have much room. If you’re looking for a lake house where you won’t feel like you’re on top of each other, this is a good choice

We had a wonderful time! The property was exactly as described, and my entire family loved our stay. It had everything we needed and all the amenities that made our trip easy and comfortable. We enjoyed a great day on Lake Michigan and had the chance to explore the dunes at Silver Lake, which made the trip even more memorable. Thank you so much for a great experience! We will definitely recommend your property to friends and would absolutely consider staying here again in the future.

5 stars all aroundEasy check in easy check out perfect communication from hostProperty exactly as described Brought my daughter and son in law they stayed in the studio off the garageGreat!Also brought my son and daughter in law with our two grand daughters With my wife the six of us stayed in the main housePlenty of room great open kitchen living room spaceWonderful outdoor area deck with furniture. A grassy area out to the lake with fire pit with chairs and hot tub! Grand kids loved that!!Garage has ping pong pop a shot ladder ball kayaks and other outdoor games. Great additions to a great placeWe used the outdoor grille, chairs, hammock and even the paddle boatWe rented a pontoon and easily docked it and the property’s dockVery convenient We also fished right off the dockFirst time for the grand daughters!Great location easy to find We took the 12 minute drive up to silver lake and did the Mac woods dune rideIce cream next door at Whippy Dip. Took the 7 minute drive to the Lake Michigan township beach and saw a wonderful summer sunset!Great summer week at a Great placeIt will not disappoint!

We loved the opportunity to stay in the home and reconnect with some Michigan friends. The kitchen was nice and had all the utensils, pots, and pans, and other kitchen needs. there is limited space to unpack and hang clothing in one of the bedrooms and in the garage room where the pullout sofa is. Being on the lake was beautiful. It would be great if you have your own boat because you can launch it right there a couple doors down from where the house is and then you can dock it in front of the house. We really enjoyed using the paddle boat and the fire pit and spent most of our time outdoors. The location is great.

Great cabin. Very clean and family friendly. Quiet environment. Area had lots of rain prior to arrival and lawn was very squishy. Very close to Lewis farm, Mac Woods dune rides, Public Lake Michigan beach.

We had a wonderful visit. Everything was as advertised and it had all of the amenities we could ask for. Wonderful location, quiet and tucked away with friendly neighbors. Communication was great and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Would definitely go back!
