Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry to hear your stay had some hiccups. We did do our best to accommodate all of your needs when you called. The ceiling, from the previous water damage, was completely fixed prior to your arrival but still needed to be painted. We did not want to have to cancel your vacation because of a small area of drywall that needed a little paint, but I am sorry that it didn't have the final touches on that area when you were there. Our maintenance team came to to fix a few items, like unclogging a toilet 2 different times during your stay as well as addressing other minor issues that arose. We do our best to be as responsive as possible and keep all of our guests happy! While a lot of these items are small, I can recognize that even small things can be frustrating while enjoying your vacation. Thank you for your input as we have been able to resolve all of these issues so they won't be a problem for our future guests.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the need for updates and repairs, the sliding doors, siding, and widows have all been replaced since your review, so they are no longer an issue for future guests. The pillows were most definitely not stained with urine, but the ones that looked like they needed to be replaced have been, and we would have happily replaced them for your during your stay had we known there was an issue. The carpet has also been professionally cleaned multiple times a year. We are glad to hear that the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning met your expectations. We take your feedback seriously and appreciate you letting us know your concerns. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

I am extremely sorry for your experience. Unfortunately the reservation tried to be canceled day of check in, we were unable to accommodate a cancellation due to that reason. When guests cancel outside of cancellation dates, we do offer a refund on any dates that do get booked as we want our guests to have fair compensation. That offer was unfortunately not taken so the reservation stayed booked and was unable to be open for other to book. We do wish that we could have provided a better experience, however there is very limited options when it comes to canceling the date of arrival.
