Finding nail clippings on the floor and hair on the toilet seat is not the standard we expect from our cleaning team, and we have addressed this feedback with them. Regarding the mouse, we are located in a rural, natural setting where wildlife is part of the environment, and we do have an ongoing rodent-control system in place. That said, we understand that seeing a mouse inside the cabin is unpleasant, and we take any report of this nature seriously. We do our best to be very communicative with our guests throughout their stay, and we wish you had brought these concerns to our attention when you noticed them. Had we known about the cleaning issues, we would have gladly sent our team to address them immediately. Regarding the mouse, another guest brought the issue to our attention, which allowed us to identify the problem and take the necessary measures to resolve it in that cabin. We wish we had been made aware of your concerns during your stay so we could have done the same for you. As for the price, we understand that value is subjective and that different properties can offer very different experiences at different price points. Our rates reflect the property, amenities, location, season and demand, and we appreciate that they may not represent the value every guest is looking for. We are sorry that the stay did not meet your expectations, but we do wish we had been given the opportunity to address these concerns while you were here.
