The stay was great! It was very quiet and perfect for what we needed! The place was very clean. We really enjoyed the kicking horse resort, specifically the double black cafe. The only thing slightly wrong was the screen door going out to the deck. The screen door was broken and didn’t shut easily/all the way which let bugs/spiders in.

Check in was a breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. We used the hot tub and grill.

Golden Stay!

We had an excellent stay! The property was exactly as described, quiet, well appointed and met our family’s needs perfectly. The hot tub was clean and provided the perfect end to our days. This property is in a great location if you’re inclined to explore the Columbia Ice Fields, Glacier NP, Yoho and Banff (central to all). We visited in the summer but would love to stay during ski season some day.

Great stay

Nice layout - much better than the smaller units - and great views from the couch and the hot tub. Super walkable. Really nice host who was nearby.

Kicking Horse

There’s everything you could possibly need for a fabulous stay in Ben’s unit. It’s well stocked with basics & just a short walk to Kicking Horse Resort. ( Shops here are closed mid week in shoulder season). Holden has some great cafes & restaurants. We loved it!

Just what we needed

There in August. Simple 2BR condo. Great hot tub. Parking in garage was almost impossible with large suv, but outdoor parking ample and easy.

Mountain views

Stayed for 7 nights for our son’s wedding at Kicking Horse. Exactly as described and our family thoroughly enjoyed staying in this location. Host was great and quick to respond to questions. Private setting with beautiful views of the mountains. Felt like home away from home but better. Our family would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Perfect getaway

DH MTB Race Weekend

Great property, as described, well equipped and comfortable. The owner was very accommodating, dropped off ice cube trays for us. Always a nice breeze in the evening so it never got too hot. King bed was a bit firm for what we usually like, queen ben was very comfortable. Only complaint was the cleaners like to use highly scented detergents and dryer sheets on the sheets, which we found irritating with our allergies.

Peaceful and Lovely

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aspen village. The deck was huge and had a table, lounging chairs and our favourite part: a hot tub! The only downside was 3 power outages that occurred each day. Not the property owners fault of course, but rather annoying. Otherwise we really enjoyed the peace and beauty of the area.

Perfect Kicking Horse Spot

I came for a long weekend to ski Kicking Horse and this was a perfect pad. It was clean, comfortable, and had every amenity you could ask for: a well-stocked kitchen, a hot tub, ski storage in the garage, and easy access to the slopes. Thanks for a great stay!

Kicking Horse on hill

We had a fabulous time! The location was pristine, it felt like you were immersed in the mountain. Lovely light and views. Ben was a fantastic host, super communicative and nothing seemed too much, he could not have been a kinder host and I would absolutely go back! Thank you Ben.

Comfortable place for our family of 4

Loved the hot tub and the privacy of the place. It wasn’t super easy for our little ones to ski out of but we could easily ski to it at the end of the day. The beds were comfy and the place was clean :)

Great location!

The location was great and very private! We wish that there would have been more comfortable furniture on the deck so we could enjoy the outdoors a bit more. But overall it was a great place to stay!

While living in Ontario early 2000s we discovered Golden and Kicking Horse during one of our trips out west.
We fell instantly in love with the Resort and the town of Golden. Its laid back attitude, uncrowded slopes, incredible vertical and amazing in-bounds chutes coupled with some of the best powder around was everything we could wish for.
We used to travel there every Christmas and March break until the arrival of our little guy in 2013 when we just decided to move out west and enjoy the mountains as much as possible.

We've tried every resorts around (and quiet a few in Europe) and although there are some great options available, we've always came back to Kicking Horse.

The deck is facing away from any other building with unobstructed view of the mountains, the forest just below makes you feel like you're alone out there when really you're in the heart of the resort.
