Imagine arriving at your gated vacation retreat to find a stunning, newly remodeled single-level home on a one-acre lot in La Jolla with a private, wholly resurfaced, and entirely lighted tennis court. A pickleball set is provided so you can choose which game to play. A saltwater pool, firepit, children's playhouse, and gardens of fruit trees and roses all add to the ambiance of this private vacation home for a quiet, relaxing getaway. A grass yard and a large, wonderfully appointed lanai for outdoor eating, a barbecue, and several lounging areas allow you to easily meld indoor and outdoor living to your liking at any given moment.

Enter this updated 2,426-square-foot home and find yourself in a large wraparound great room that feels both luxurious and wonderfully spacious. An exquisite bright living area with slider access to the patio has comfortable seating where you can relax and recharge. Meals can be enjoyed in an elegant dining room, in the sunroom overlooking the garden, or outdoors on the patio under the lanai. A bright, modern kitchen has all you need to create meals at home. The large kitchen island makes it easy for several to prepare and cook together. The main bedroom features a large TV, a seating nook, and an en suite bath with a beautiful view of the spacious backyard. One guest bedroom also has a TV, and all beds and bathrooms are furnished with premier linens for comfort. The family room also has a large TV and a queen sofa bed.

Bonus amenities include central air-conditioning, a laundry room, and a gated, stone-paved circular driveway. Windansea Beach, La Jolla Cove, and La Jolla Village, with world-class shops and restaurants, are just a few minutes' drive if you venture outside your retreat and enjoy the many attractions of La Jolla and the greater San Diego area. This home has it all!

THINGS TO KNOW
*This home's pool and spa heating system does not allow both amenities to be heated simultaneously. Because of the pool's large size and deep depth, the heating costs are higher than in other homes. Heating is not required, though.
This home is in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no-tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, or parties. Deposit forfeitures and evictions are strictly enforced. Please ensure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.
Reservations for this home will not be refunded if canceled within 60 days of arrival.

$150/day for pool heat. 3 day consecutive minimum required. at least 48 hours prior notice as pool takes up to 24 hours to fully heat.
Pool house is not for guest's use - owner use only.

Great Stay in San Diego

My family of 7 had an absolutely wonderful stay in this beautiful San Diego home. We came to support two of our family members who were running the San Diego marathon ( Note is one of the toughest marathons in the country due to the hills). When we arrived at the home, Fabiano , property manager, met us at the property to show us the ins and out. He was great and very responsive throughout our stay. The home was spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor area was private and beautiful. The firepit and tennis courts are down a hill. We used the gas firepit a few nights and it was really nice. The weather and a small issue with the pool heater stopped us from using the pool but the home was centrally located and we found a lot to do. The beach and downtown were just a short drive. Also there were many great restaurants in area. The street the home is on is a little busy but home is gated and back is very private. San Diego at its best!

Perfect Guy’s Weekend

The house and property lived up to the online listing. It was a perfect home base for a guy’s weekend for several of us coming from the East Coast. We played a ton of pickleball and then used both the pool and spa, even though it was early December and we didn’t heat the pool. The bedrooms and the bathrooms were comfortable and spacious. Location was good though a decent drive out of town but a beautiful drive down the hill with a view. Would definitely recommend the place.

Amazing location, great house

We came for a concert with some old friends and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Everything was clean and beautiful, we all had a good sleep on the beds. The pool and hot tub felt great after a long day out, and we used the grill and full kitchen to cook steaks to perfection. The only annoying bit is that they didn’t provide nearly enough trash bags - in fact only one - for the length of the stay, so if you have more than a few people I recommend buying a few more. Otherwise it was an all around fantastic trip enhanced by the house

Great property in amazing neighborhood

Roomy place with great amenities and plenty of bathrooms for a group of 6. We enjoyed the pool and spa very much and were blessed with excellent weather. Some suggestions I believe will help with a property that is asking over $1k per day: cleaning detail is lacking (i.e. scotch tape from previous party on ceiling and walls, nasty coffee cup at court along with dirty outdoor furniture, fabrics on indoor furniture very stained, towels had stale "locker room" smell). We are picky but we enjoyed our time here!

Luxury home exceeded expectations

We’ve stayed in short term rentals before at much lower price points and those stays have always been average to below average. We required four bedrooms and staying at a hotel during the holidays was going to be a lot more expensive than renting a home. This home didn’t feel like a typical short term rental decked out in IKEA. It really felt like someone’s home. We had more than enough space for 6-7 people to spread out, with a living room, family room, and outdoor spaces. The kitchen had just about everything we needed with plenty of dishes and coffee cups. I appreciated that the property management company left us with a starter kit of trash bags, dishwasher and washing machine pods, and a sponge and soap. We had some difficulty with the wireless going in and out over the first couple of days, but they sent one of their own guys the first day and eventually made an appointment with Spectrum to have them come out and fix it. After that we didn’t have issues with that WiFi. We were impressed that someone came over the weekend and pulled the trash cans out to the curb for trash day. We tried out pickle ball at the tennis court on our last day and even used the pool and hot tub a couple days. I was sad that we didn’t get to try the fire pit during our stay. Overall we all enjoyed the house very much and it was a great place to stay over Christmas.

Wonderful vacation spot and experience

Lovely place to stay, and was just as seen in photos. Alejandro showed us where to turn on the lights for swimming and for playing tennis in the evening. He checked in over the week to make sure we had everything we needed.

Paradise in the hills

The home was beautiful and so much to do, we went swimming played tennis and had dinner on the back patio. Loved it, Alessandro was amazing keeping in touch making sure that we had all that we needed.

Family vacation

Beautiful property! We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. The house was very nice, with plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. We especially loved the outdoor spaces. The pool, outdoor dining, and tennis court were amazing!

Could’ve been better

The property was beautiful and there was enough space for our family to enjoy. However, the property is poorly managed and though they have a team of people responding to inquiries, communication is not streamlined. There are additional fees for the pool to be heated, one of the main amenities we wanted our little one to enjoy. We were ok with the upcharge, but when the temperature remained cold, we requested maintenance check it out. One two occasions and two separate days, we were promised they would look into it and send someone out and never did. And despite my efforts to get it resolved, management failed to respond and resolve the issue. When I followed up regarding a refund, they reported they would not issue a refund because they resolved issue by increasing the temp. They lied and reported they sent someone out and have records. They couldn’t share their maintenance records because they don’t exist. There was also landscaping done during our stay without any notification. So for two hours, we had to deal with noise and the strong odor of emissions from the equipment (I.e, mower, leaf blower, etc.). The management company said they weren’t aware and apologized, but did nothing about it.

Large house

This house was large and spacious for our family vacation and the tennis court was the best part. It was not especially convenient for our dog as there was no way to secure him on the property without worrying he could escape or get himself into trouble spots. The beds qt the house need to be replaced. Not enough towels were available. Navigating the neighborhood was very difficult given the winding roads and ongoing construction on the surface streets.

Family Vacation

We adored this home are are still talking about it! Having a tennis court on your property, all to yourself was a huge hit with all of us! And the gardens surrounding the property are just gorgeous, you really do feel on vacation! The pool was beautiful, I advise heating it, though I did find that pricey, but worth it! This home was the first we've rented through vrbo that is managed by a rental company. The home was very clean, and we were able to get ahold of people if we needed to. Check in and out were also very smooth. One thing I wish I knew before going, and maybe this was just because of Covid...there were few supplies. Usually you can find staples in the kitchen like plastic bags or foil or garbage bags or sugar. We had to purchase all of these ourselves. I wish I knew this ahead of time, I would've been more prepared. Besides that, we would love to go back!

Such a comfortable home and so perfect for our family during this pandemic crisis.

This was a perfect setup for our group. We ate and played at this home a lot. We were so close to the beaches that it was no problem to drop off those that were into the ocean activities. We actually could have just stayed in the home and had a great time with that lovely pool and tennis courts. My only complaint was that the cost to heat the pool was extremely expensive....more than I would have expected but the weather was a bit cool and the water was too cold. Overall a perfect time.

Spacious Property, well maintained & Gorgeous Area

A party of 10 us stayed for 5 nights and were impressed with the spacious backyard for the kids to run around, the fully lit tennis court as well as the large pool. The management team provided us with a convenient app that made the check in and check out process easy and provided a high level idea of what to expect in the house as well as attractions around the area. We visited sea world, Legoland as well as a Padre game during our stay and also went to some DT La Jolla shops and restaurants. Lots of hills around the area so walkability is limited but you can jog to the ocean if you’re up for it. The management team ways always readily available which was probably the most helpful part of the experience as we need some extra linens and a few extra house items during our stay. The kids are already asking us to go back so overall I think it was a very memorable and special trip.

Stunning and Comfortable Home!

We selected this house for a relaxing girls weekend - and we absolutely loved our stay! The pool and backyard tables were amazing for swimming, hanging out , and grilling in the backyard. The bedrooms were all very clean and quiet, with very comfortable beds. We loved making meals at home and found that the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything you could need to make a fancy meal at home! Would absolutely stay here again. The rental company was also incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. A fabulous weekend and we hope to be back!
