Mike's Place at the Beach

Experience the charm of funky Mission Beach in this beachside lower-level triplex, just steps from the sand and boardwalk. Perfect for families, this vacation rental features 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 queens) and 1 full bathroom with a tub, along with a full kitchen, 42” TV, and a shared outdoor patio with BBQ seating. Beach gear is provided, 2 chairs, beach towels, and umbrella. The guests also have access to a coin-operated washer/dryer and a 1-car garage (fits a midsize SUV 8 x19 x7.8). Ideally located for exploring San Diego, you're just a short drive from Belmont Park, Balboa Park, La Jolla Village, and the San Diego Zoo. Check-in is 4 pm, and check-out is 10 am. Quiet hours are 10 pm–7 am. No pets, no smoking, and all guests must follow the good neighbor policy.
Vacation Rental Contract
You are booking with Casago San Diego, a professional local property management company. We require guests to complete our own “Vacation Rental Agreement” after they've made their booking. We do this to ensure quality and consistency for our guests and our homeowners.

Identity Verification Guests are required to complete a separate identity verification process within 24 hours of booking. The link is texted to your phone. This protects you and us against fraud.

Great location for the property. Parking was a bit difficult, as mentioned by others. Overall was as advertised, just be careful with the parking and take your time. I live in a big city and used to parking in tight spaces, this was still a challenge with a larger car.

Great location. Right in the heart of Mission Beach. Having the garage was a great benefit, opposed to hunting for parking. Rooms were large and comfortable. Patio area was huge for enjoying the morning sun, before heading out for the day. This is a "triplex", and the only concerned I shared was the noise from the upstairs neighbors.

Great location, almost beachfront, and super close to Belmont. Garage is very tight so if you have a larger car/SUV you will have difficulty parking it due to the narrow alleyway. The house was super clean, roomy, and as described. Several issues with door lock/fans/lights, loud neighbors, etc, but the management company tended to my needs and helped out instantly with great customer service. They were kind and attentive in order to make my stay worthwhile.

Host was very welcoming. Loved the location. Parking garage was very small and hard to access with a bigger vehicle. We could hear guests on the 2nd floor a lot. Must not be much insulation.

The location was fantastic! Close proximity to the beach, local shops and restaurants. The kitchen and living room were nice, however the bedrooms lacked comfortable beds. They have also recently renovated the bathroom, to remove the bathtub, while the shower is beautiful, it is a bit inconvenient with a toddler.

Electricity went out on us and I had to find and reset circuit breakers, fire alarms kept going off for no reason. We did not cook anything in the rental so we disconnected them and had to put them outside. Lights and ceiling fans kept turning on and off randomly at all hours of the night. But, other than the internet connectivity being poor, at least we had a place to sleep each night before each days adventures which was the primary reason for coming to SD. We still had fun once we got out of the rental and got on to our adventures and that’s what it’s really about!

Great location

Great location. The place itself was clean and comfortable. Like others have said, some simple updates and repairs would make it a 5-star spot. I would stay there again.

The Perfect Location

My girlfriends and I had a blast at Mission Beach! The location of this house was absolutely perfect and so convenient to food, activities and most importantly, the beach! Will definitely visit again and stay here.

Adorable beach house!

This beach house is absolutely adorable and location is excellent. There were 4 adults and 2 small children in our group and we had plenty of space. Would definitely stay again!

Great Location

You cannot beat the location of this property. Literally, steps to the beach and a couple blocks away the roller coaster in Mission Beach. Great for kids! Would stay again!
